They are mirrors.When you read Genesis honestly, you see yourself in every character. You are Adam, hiding from God. You are Cain, angry that your offering was not accepted. You are Noah, drunk and exposed. You are Abraham, lying to protect himself. You are Jacob, scheming for a blessing. You are Joseph, arrogant and naive. Genesis does not flatter you. It exposes you.
