Georg Friedrich Händel

Seekordse teabetunni keskmes on barokkmuusika suurkuju Georg Friedrich Händel. Ta sündis Saksamaal, elas ja töötas aastaid Itaalias, legendiks aga sai Londonis. Johann Sebastian Bach on kahtlusteta kuulsam, ent Händeli mõõtmatult avar looming on tunduvalt mitmekesisem. Ta kirjutas oratooriume, kantaate, kontserte, sonaate, orkestrisüite ning koguni 40 ooperit. Tema teoseid on korduvalt ka Eestis ette kantud. Osa Händeli loomepärandist koos Enn Eesmaa kommentaaridega on kuuldavad "ENNtsüklopeedia" selle nädala saates.
