Getting a Grip on the Importance of Hand Exercise, Dr. Terry Zachary is a sports chiropractor, who in 1994 attempted to join the PGA golf tour. He has worked with many pro golfers suffering from tennis elbow and saw that they either did hand muscle exercise improperly or not at all. He spent years working on a device to do it right, be universal, and easy to use; which he accomplished with the Handmaster Plus. Terry is passionate about discussing the importance of hand exercise, as it is a vital and overlooked body dynamic (the hands, elbows, wrists, and forearms). In this episode we discuss the importance of the hands to overall health and wellnessa and why it is vital is exercise the hands. Terry explains the different planes of motions and how we should be using them, and demonstrates with and without his equipment exercises to help with hand and grip strength. He has treated a variety of patients with hand issues: musicians, athletes, computer users, stoke victims, those suffering from arthritis, many trade workers, and more.
