Maria has worked with leaders around the world, including Mexico, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Kosovo, Colombia, China, Kenya, Lebanon, and Senegal. Maria is on the faculty at American University, is a TEDx speaker, and is published in Forbes, Ellevate, and TD Magazine. Maria hosts a podcast on critical DEI issues called Culture Stew. Maria is author of the book, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for Trainers: Fostering DEI in the Workplace (ATD Press, 2022) and co-author of ATD's Handbook for Training and Talent Development Handbook (ATD Press, 2022). Maria earned a dual Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Michigan in Organizational Studies and Spanish, and a Master’s Degree from American University in International Communication.
