My name’s Helen Amery and even before starting Wild Fig, back in 2014, I’ve had a passion for great leadership and great cultures. Now, my work removes internal interference so that being a founder under pressure doesn’t diminish your impact. I work with founders whose internal state has become a risk factor in what they want to deliver. They’re still externally achieving, but they’re also carrying a weight of responsibility and complexity that most people never experience. These people are founders who care deeply about how they lead. And who refuse to sacrifice their values, relationships, or integrity just to keep performing. This work didn’t come from theory For a long time, I lived inside the same paradox many of my clients now recognise. From the outside, I looked capable, composed, and successful. On the inside, I was running on pressure, over-responsibility, and self-control. I could lead. I could deliver. But the way I was doing it came at a cost.
