In this episode, we examine how the Bible enables us to know there is a God. When we open God's Word with honest and careful study, we find that Scripture does not argue for the existence of God as though it were in question — it declares it, from the very first word to the last. The apostle Paul writes in Romans 1:20 (KJV), "For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse." This sobering declaration from God's Word reminds us that the evidence for God is not hidden — it is written into creation itself for all to see. When we commit ourselves to what the Bible actually says about the existence of God, we find that Scripture is sufficient to answer the doubts and challenges of a world that has chosen to suppress what God has made plain — strengthening our confidence in God's Word as our reliable and authoritative guide.
