The apostle Paul writes in Philippians 4:4 (KJV), "Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice." The apostle Paul writes in Romans 1:20 (KJV), "For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse." This sobering declaration from God's Word reminds us that the evidence for God is not hidden — it is written into creation itself for all to see. When we commit ourselves to what the Bible actually says about the existence of God, we find that Scripture is sufficient to answer the doubts and challenges of a world that has chosen to suppress what God has made plain — strengthening our confidence in God's Word as our reliable and authoritative guide.

The apostle Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 6:18 (KJV), "Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body." This direct command from God's Word leaves no room for compromise, reminding us that the standard for sexual purity is not set by culture but by God Himself. When we commit ourselves to what the Bible actually says about fornication, we find that Scripture is sufficient to confront this sin clearly and equip us to stand firm in a world that has largely abandoned God's design — strengthening our confidence in God's Word as our reliable and authoritative guide.

In this episode, we examine how the Bible’s inspiration is shown by its archaeological accuracy. When we open God’s Word with honest and careful study, we find that the discoveries of archaeology have time and again confirmed what Scripture has always declared to be true. The apostle Peter writes in 2 Peter 1:21 (KJV), “For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” This reminder that Scripture originates with God Himself is precisely what we would expect to find confirmed when the spade of the archaeologist meets the ground — and confirmed it has been. The apostle Peter declares in Acts 2:38 (KJV), "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." This clear command from Jesus Himself establishes that acceptable worship is not defined by man but by God, and that definition is found in His Word. Give Me the Bible - Lesson 13 - Because It's Inspiration Is Shown by It's Prophetic Accuracy - Wayne Brewer

In this lesson, we examine how the prophetic accuracy of Scripture demonstrates its divine inspiration. The Bible contains prophecies written centuries before the events they describe, yet those same events are later recorded as fulfilled in the New Testament. For example, Isaiah 53:7 (KJV) foretells, “He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth…” This prophecy is clearly seen fulfilled in Acts 8:32–35 (KJV) when the Ethiopian eunuch reads this very passage from Isaiah, and Philip begins at that scripture to preach unto him Jesus. This powerful connection between prophecy and fulfillment is not an isolated case. Throughout the Scriptures, we find many Old Testament prophecies that are later fulfilled in the New Testament. Such accuracy strengthens our confidence that the Bible is truly inspired by God and stands as our reliable and authoritative guide.

This study contrasts popular misconceptions with clear biblical truth, exposing how twisted interpretations can dull our conscience and weaken the gospel message. By rightly dividing the Word of truth, we are reminded of the true nature of sin, its consequences, and God’s merciful provision for forgiveness and redemption through obedience to His revealed will.

This study compares the claims of Mormonism with the Bible, exposing where additional writings, altered concepts of God, and redefined gospel messages depart from the faith once delivered. By rightly dividing the Scriptures, this lesson encourages listeners to seek truth, reject error, and hold fast to the gospel revealed in Christ and confirmed in the inspired Word of God.

This study explores how the apostles taught the harmony between grace, law, and faithful obedience, exposing the dangers of doctrines that separate belief from action. Through careful examination of the Scriptures, we learn why true discipleship requires both trusting God’s promises and honoring His commandments with humble, willing hearts.

  33. 92

The Twisted Scriptures - Lesson 28 - The Eldership - Perry Cotham

In this episode, The Eldership, we examine God’s pattern for church leadership as revealed in the King James Version of Scripture. Paul describes the office of an elder with unmistakable clarity: “If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work… A bishop then must be blameless” (1 Timothy 3:1–2, KJV). Titus is instructed to “ordain elders in every city” who hold fast “the faithful word” (Titus 1:5, 9, KJV). Peter exhorts these leaders to “feed the flock of God… not by constraint, but willingly… being ensamples to the flock” (1 Peter 5:2–3, KJV). We explore how these verses are sometimes twisted—whether by softening the qualifications, blurring the responsibilities, or elevating authority beyond what Scripture grants—and how returning to the KJV text restores a picture of humble, sacrificial shepherding that reflects Christ. Whether you are studying the role of elders, preparing to serve, or seeking clarity on what the Bible teaches, this episode invites you to open your Bible and walk through these passages with us—one verse at a time.

  34. 91

In this lesson, “Opposing Error” from the series The Twisted Scriptures, we examine the Christian’s responsibility to stand against false teaching with clarity, conviction, and compassion. This episode explores how to recognize error, how to refute it using the Bible as the final authority, and how to defend the gospel without compromising love or integrity. Through careful study, we learn not only what to oppose, but how to oppose it in a way that honors God and strengthens His people.

  35. 90

The Twisted Scriptures - Lesson 26 - Faith Only - Don Underwood

In this lesson, “Faith Only” from the series The Twisted Scriptures, we examine the popular but dangerous doctrine that claims we are saved by “faith alone” apart from any obedience to God’s commands. Many religious teachers lift verses out of context, ignore the harmony of Scripture, and pit one passage against another to defend a faith that requires no real submission, repentance, or faithful living. In this study, we carefully consider what the Bible actually teaches about faith, works, grace, and obedience—showing that true, saving faith is active, obedient, and trusting, not a mere mental agreement. By rightly dividing the word of truth, we expose the misuse of “faith only” passages and call listeners back to the simple, powerful gospel of Christ.

  36. 89

The Twisted Scriptures - Lesson 25 - The Twisted Scriptures - James Meadows

In this lesson “The Twisted Scriptures,” we explore how God’s inspired Word can be misused, taken out of context, and bent to fit human doctrines rather than divine truth. Many today twist passages to justify false teaching, man-made traditions, or worldly lifestyles—yet the Bible warns plainly against wresting the Scriptures to our own destruction (2 Peter 3:16). In this study, we lay the groundwork for recognizing these distortions by examining the importance of context, comparing scripture with scripture, and maintaining a humble, honest heart before God. Our aim is not to win arguments, but to let the pure, uncorrupted Word of God shine through—so that we can know the truth, live the truth, and lovingly help others untangle the twisted uses of Scripture.

  37. 88

Many try to blend the Bible with evolutionary ideas, twisting passages about creation, time, and the nature of man to fit modern philosophies rather than submitting to the clear teaching of Scripture. In this study, we expose those misuses, contrast the wisdom of men with the wisdom of God, and reaffirm the biblical account of creation as both reliable and foundational to our faith. Listeners are challenged to ask: Who will I trust—fallible human interpretations, or the inspired revelation of the Creator Himself?

  38. 87

Join us as we untangle common errors, return to the authority of Scripture, and strive to honor the Lord in spirit and in truth.

The Twisted Scriptures - Lesson 20 - Methods Of Interpretation Part 2 - Charles Coats

In this lesson, Methods of Interpretation Part 2, from the series The Twisted Scriptures, we continue examining how the way we interpret Scripture shapes our understanding of God’s truth. Many errors arise not from rejecting the Bible outright, but from mishandling its meaning. This study explores sound principles of biblical interpretation—comparing Scripture with Scripture, respecting context, and letting God’s Word speak for itself—so that we may rightly divide the Word of Truth and avoid the snares of human reasoning.

  44. 81

The Twisted Scriptures - Lesson 17 - Worship Part 1 - Max Miller

In this lesson, Worship Part 1 from the series The Twisted Scriptures, we examine how the biblical concept of worship has often been misunderstood, diluted, or reshaped to fit personal preference rather than divine instruction. ABOUT THIS SHOW

We are a congregation driven by a simple commitment—to be true followers of Christ. Our faith is grounded in the New Testament, and we earnestly practice its teachings to the best of our abilities as a demonstration of our love for God (John 14:15; Colossians 3:17). In our worship, authenticity takes center stage. We approach God with sincerity, seeking to align our expressions with His divine will, as beautifully articulated in John 4:23-24. Every element of our worship is meticulously planned to embody reason, dignity, and order, all of which stem from our profound knowledge of the Word of God. We strive to lead our worship that is reflective of the teachings of Christ
