This straightforward word from God's Word leaves no room for prejudice to find a comfortable place among those who claim to follow Christ — making clear that partiality is not a cultural issue but a sin to be confronted and put away. When we commit ourselves to what the Bible actually says about prejudice, we find that Scripture is sufficient to expose and correct every attitude that elevates one person above another for the wrong reasons — calling us instead to the love and impartiality that God has always required — strengthening our confidence in God's Word as our reliable and authoritative guide.
