When flying a plane, pilots need to learn to trust their instruments, especially when the weather is bad. When visibility is poor and the turbulence is rough, being able to read the instruments will give an accurate reading on position can mean the difference of life and death. When we’re confused and dealing with life’s turbulence, reading the word of God can bring stability in our lives, reminding us of our position before God.
