Giving Thanks to the God Who is Redeeming All Things, 11/25/20

2020 has been a difficult year for so many of us. Have you ever found yourself asking the questions, "Why is life so hard? Why is there so much pain, strife, and suffering in the world, in my life, and the life of those I love?" This passage of Romans 8: 18-28 gives us some of the answers to why there are such sufferings and why creation has been subjected to such futility. It also reminds us of God's promise of how He is redeeming us and will fully redeem us from this futility. We have reason to give thanks in 2020! God is at work and He is fulfilling His promises to release us from suffering, hardship, pain, and strife.
