Giving Thanks Today and Every Day

from The Accountability Minute:Business Acceleration|Productivity · host Anne Bachrach

Since today is Thanksgiving in the United States, I thought you might enjoy a short poem. Levity is always a good thing, I think. Here’s your Funny Ode to ThanksgivingMay your stuffing be tasty May your turkey be plump, May your potatoes and gravy Have nary a lump. May your yams be delicious, and your pies take the prize, And may your Thanksgiving dinner Stay off your thighs! Thanksgiving is a powerful reminder to pause, reflect, and celebrate the abundance in our lives. Giving thanks isn’t just a tradition, it’s a practice that strengthens relationships, expands opportunities, and creates a ripple effect of positivity in every area of life. When we pause to appreciate what we have, we shift our focus from what’s missing to what’s possible. In business and in life, gratitude is a performance multiplier. Studies show that people who regularly practice gratitude are happier, healthier, and more successful. The simple act of expressing thanks to clients, colleagues, friends, and family, builds trust, deepens connection, and fuels the kind of momentum that makes goals a reality. Today, I thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey. Your commitment to growth and achievement inspires me every day. As you gather with loved ones, may this season remind you that gratitude is more than a holiday ritual — it’s a powerful tool for creating your ideal business and your ideal life. One simple way to strengthen this practice year-round is by keeping a gratitude journal. Writing down what you’re thankful for can improve your mental clarity, emotional well-being, and overall quality of life.
