The end of an era—or at least it should have been. In Glee 5×13, “New Directions,” the Glee Club is officially over, Sue has won, and McKinley’s choir room gets packed up for good this time. But instead of a graceful farewell to the kids we know and love, we get an episode written like a series finale… even though the show still had another season and a half to go.
