Global Impact Of Coronavirus

The Turkish Heritage Organization hosted a teleconference, the “Global Impact of Coronavirus” on Thursday, March 26, 2020. This teleconference featured Kaveh Khoshnood, Associate Processor, Faculty Director of Innovate Health, Yale University; William Zarit, Chairman, American Chamber of Commerce in China Senior Counselor, Cohen Group; Gary Hufbauer, Nonresident Fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economic; and Derya Unutmaz, Professor at the Jackson Laboratory. Throughout the teleconference, the panelists spoke on the development of continued research both for epidemiology and vaccine development in response to this global pandemic. Further, the panelists shed light on the social and economic impact that the novel coronavirus will bring to the supply chain and manufacturing aspects, as well as commentary on the potential outcome following the stimulus package.
