GLORIA BARNETT; LIVE from ENGLAND; the Weird Fish Lady; Oceans; Importance to ALL LIFE on EARTH. YouTube Interview: #climateeducation  #climatechange  CONTACT INFO: https://barnettauthor.co.uk/ BIO: Gloria is an author, science presenter, and an expert in all things ‘ocean’. Through her books for both adults and children, and her talks to audiences around the world she helps everyone to discover why oceans are so important to all life on Earth. Find her at www.barnettauthor.co.uk EXCERPTS FROM GLORIA BARNETT WEBSITE: ‘My love of the sea comes from travelling around the world exploring our planet’s oceans…Diving with my video camera has brought me face to face with the underwater creatures I talk and write about…My mission is to help people of all ages understand the amazing world of oceans.” “At the present time I wear three ‘hats’ Author of ocean themed books for all ages. Speaker at all types of Conferences and I regularly travel with Cunard to do Insight Lectures – always on the topic of the Ocean World. Educational Consultant – that sounds posh – but it means I have fun when I go into Primary Schools around the UK and present underwater adventure days. I visit schools as an ‘author’ too. Where have I dived? Chris and I have dived in a variety of areas around the world – Mexico, USA, Caribbean Islands, Israel, Turkey, Red Sea in Egypt, Indonesia and the Philippines. All these places are close to the equator. I admit I don’t enjoy diving in cold water and have never dived in the UK – call me a wimp but I have watched videos from UK divers’ trips beneath the waves, and very beautiful it looks from my nice comfy ‘warm’ settee. Filmmaker/Photographer – I love collating the underwater film I’ve shot during my dives around the world and I specialize in taking wildlife photos too. Nearly all the photos in this website were taken by me, and my favorites are the whale fluke at the header of the Teacher’s Resource Page (Iceland), and the Crab header on the gallery page (Brazil)” ** PLEASE NOTE: 4 days ago: IPCC UN Climate Report issued CODE RED FOR HUMANITY Means running out of time & won’t be able to reverse climate change (well maybe in 300 or 1000 years) #GenZ #climatechange #TogetherForOurPlanet #OneStepGreener #environment #climateemergency #climatecrisis #climate #globalwarming #climateeducation ** edits by Claudine Smith- Email: [email protected] ** AUDIO: SPOTIFY http://spoti.fi/3bMYVYW GOOGLE PODCASTS http://bit.ly/38yH3yP ** OPEN LETTER TO EMMYLOU HARRIS on njdiscover.com ** 88 Interviews Include: #GenZ #NavySeals #NASA #USMarines #breastcancer #cooking #beer #sleep #UFO #NFL #mindfulness #voiceover #dyslexia #nba #aging #Cameroon #filmmaking #UFO #bipolar #mentalhealth #womenshealth #biomedengineering #Nutrition #football #Rutgers #climatechange #globalwarming #amazonrainforest #climateeducation @rutgersalumni
