Today we are talking about Goal Setting Strategy #5 to Elevate Your Performance, which is to Have SMART Goals. There are many ways to set your business goals, and they should follow the SMART principle. If you set goals that aren’t SMART, there’s no way to achieve them and elevate your brand and your performance in this regard. SMART goals are very Specific and have a clear path towards achieving them. They should be measurable, meaning that they should be meaningful while motivating you to achieve them. Your goals should be Achievable, which means that they should be attainable. They should also be Relevant. This means that your goals should be reasonable, realistic (with a bit of a stretch as I like to add), and results based. SMART goals are also Time-bound. You need to set your goals to be achieved in a specific time frame (month, day, and year).
