God Gave You A Gift, And Your Church Family Is Depending On It

Greetings everyone, and may mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you. We will be in 1 Corinthians 12 today. A lot of us have worked at a job that has given us special privileges and access to things that are to be used at work, but you wouldn’t be allowed to use them for personal gain. That’s how spiritual gifts work. Each of us has been given one or more gifts, and the expectation is that we use those gifts for the benefit of the Kingdom. The truth is that our spiritual gifts are needed for the benefit of others, and if we are being selfish with our gifts, or not utilizing them entirely, then the rest of the Church body suffers. We celebrate with each other when good things happen, and mourn for one another in times of loss. God gave you your spiritual gifts for a special purpose, and whatever purpose that may be, it should be to help the Church family, because they are in need of it.“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28 19-20You can reach us at facebook.com/hbchillsboro.
