God Has Called Us to Walk by Faith Not by Sight

In 2 Kings 4, the son of a well to do woman died suddenly.  The son was a miraculous gift from God because the woman could not have children and God had performed a miracle in her life.  Her special gift from God had died and was taken away from her.  However, instead of giving into despair, she exercised her faith and believed that God was able to raise her son from the dead.  She believed that God was able to restore His promise to her.  Yes, her son was dead, but she believed that God had the ability to resurrect him from the dead, to breathe the breath of life into his body.  She walked by faith, not by sight.  Sure enough, God rewarded her faith, and her son was restored to her.  God has called us to walk by faith not by sight.  He wants us to believe that He can remedy and restore every difficult and impossible situation in our lives.  Listen to this titled episode and be encouraged.  God is still the same, yesterday and forever.
