We Must Decrease So Jesus Can Increase

Dionne delivered a sermon titled "We Must Decrease So Jesus Can Increase," focusing on the biblical example of John the Baptist and the importance of humility in ministry. She discussed how John never claimed to be the Messiah but rather served as a witness to Jesus, emphasizing that followers of Christ must similarly decrease their own significance to allow Jesus's light to shine brighter. The sermon covered key biblical passages including John 1, Matthew 3, and Acts 2, highlighting the importance of baptism and the Holy Spirit in the Christian faith. Dionne also addressed contemporary issues like fear, offenses, and forgiveness, connecting them to the biblical principle of humility and witness-bearing. Surely Goodness and Mercy Shall Follow Us All the Days of Our Lives

David spent time with God. He was known as a man after God's own heart. He had daily communion with his Heavenly Father. He relied on God through the various trials, difficulties and opposition he faced. David learned that God would always show him His goodness, love and mercy. "Surely or only goodness, mercy, and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, and through the length of my days the house of the Lord [and His presence] shall be my dwelling place." ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭23‬:‭6‬ ‭AMPC‬‬. Christ Redeemed Us From the Curse of the Law

At the Fall, God cursed the serpent and the ground, but He never cursed us. He disciplined us. However, during the dispensation of the law, Deuteronomy 28 tells us that if the people failed to obey the law, they would be cursed. The law could not save the people neither can the Law save us. That is why God sent His Son Jesus who fulfilled the Law to redeem us from the curse of the Law. "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole." He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit." ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3‬:‭13‬-‭14‬ ‭NIV‬‬.

    God's Statutes Stand Firm

God is a God of Justice. He enacts His statutes and He adjudicates or judges us here on the earth. Isaiah 33:22. A statute; a formal written law passed by a legislative body that declares, commands or prohibits actions. "Your statutes, Lord, stand firm; holiness adorns your house for endless days." ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭93‬:‭5‬ ‭NIV‬‬ This transcript appears to be a religious sermon or lecture delivered by Dionne, focusing on the topic "God's Statutes Stand Firm." The discussion covered biblical teachings about divine laws and statutes, including passages from Psalms, Isaiah, Acts, and other New Testament texts. Dionne emphasized that God's laws remain eternal and unchanging, contrasting this with incorrect teachings from Jehovah's Witnesses about communion and salvation. The sermon addressed topics including repentance, being born again, the nature of God as a righteous judge, and warnings about deception in the world. Dionne also discussed current societal issues and referenced 2 Thessalonians 2 about the man of lawlessness, concluding with encouragement for listeners to stand firm in their faith and knowledge of God's Word.

The Evangelist Hour - Are You a Member of the Kingdom of God?

The Bible tells us there are two kingdoms here on the earth; the kingdom of God where Jesus rules and reigns and the dominion of satan (Matthew 12:22-26). The purpose of satan's kingdom is to steal, kill and destroy humanity. However, Jesus demonstrated the kingdom of God when He was here on the earth. He healed the sick, cast out demons, raised the dead, multiplied food, turned water into wine, forgave sins and He died for us so that we can enter the kingdom of God. Which kingdom are you a member of? Please visit www.wearscriptures.com to purchase Christian clothing , gifts, mugs, etc.

Be Strong in the Lord and in His Mighty Power

In Joshua 1, God commands Joshua to be strong and courageous, to be strong in Him and His Mighty Power, because God had chosen him to lead His people in the Promised Land. Moses was dead, the past was dead and it was now time for God's people to move forward into His promises.   Just like Joshua, God commands us to be strong in Him and in His mighty power. We have entered into a new season. Everything has changed before our very eyes; the past is dead. However, God remains the same. God calls us to be strong and courageous as we move forward with Him.   Ephesians 6:10 says, "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power."   If these podcasts have blessed you, please consider helping us to preach the gospel.  You can donate at paypal.me/wearscriptures.

The Kingdom Which Cannot Be Shaken

God's Kingdom is unshakable in contrast with all earthly kingdoms, which are subject to change and turmoil. God's kingdom is built upon the revelation of Jesus Christ as the Messiah. Jesus is the king who sits upon David's throne. God's kingdom offers us righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.   God's kingdom cannot be shken.  "Let us therefore, receiving a kingdom that is firm and stable and cannot be shaken, offer to God pleasing service and acceptable worship, with modesty and pious care and godly fear and awe; For our God [is indeed] a consuming fire. [Deut. 4:24.]" ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭28‬-‭29‬ ‭AMPC‬‬. Please visit us at wearscriptures.com to purchase Christian clothing, mugs, gifts, etc.

The Evangelist Hour - Have You Allowed God to Pour His Love into Your Heart

"The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly perverse and corrupt and severely, mortally sick! Who can know it [perceive, understand, be acquainted with his own heart and mind]? [Matt. 13:15-17; Mark 7:21-23; Eph. 4:20-24.]" ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭9‬ ‭AMPC, ‬ God tells us that our hearts are corrupt. We received a corrupt heart from our first parents Adam and Eve. However, God sent His Son Jesus to die for us and give us a new heart. Have you allowed Jesus to pour His love into your heart? "Such hope never disappoints or deludes or shames us, for God's love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit Who has been given to us." ‭‭Romans‬ ‭5‬:‭5‬ ‭AMPC‬‬.

The Evangelist Hour - Can You Ascend the Hill of the LORD

Psalm 24 is one of the most well known and most powerful psalm in the Bible. It begins by telling us who we are and what is required of us to enter into God's presence. Psalm 24:3 says, "Who may ascend the hill of the LORD? Who may stand in His holy place?" Can you ascend the hill of the LORD?   This is an evangelistic message.  Please share with others.

Seek First the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness

Jesus commands us to seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness instead of worrying and being anxious in these end times. Jesus promises us provision, protection, peace, healing, strength, joy, righteousness, etc. if we seek His kingdom first. "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof." ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭33‬-‭34‬ ‭KJV‬‬. You are Not Alone. Emmanuel, God is with Us.

God promised us He will never leave us nor forsake us. From the very beginning when He created us, His desire was to be with us. When you love someone, you want to be with them. Even after Adam and Eve sinned against Him, God did not abandon the human race. God sent His Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins, so we can be reconciled to God. Jesus returned to Heaven, but He promised to send us the Holy Spirit. "All this happened in order to fulfill what the Lord had spoken through the prophet [Isaiah]: "Behold, the virgin shall be with child and give birth to a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel"—which, when translated, means, "God with us." [Is 7:14]". Matthew‬ ‭1‬:‭22‬-‭23‬ ‭AMP‬‬. Please visit us at wearscriptures.com to purchase Christian clothing, mugs, gifts, etc.

Arm Yourself with the Truth of God's Word

From the very beginning in Genesis, God taught us that we would have to fight for truth. God's truth is the only truth. There is not many truths, but only one. God told Adam and Eve not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, or else they would die. However, the devil told Eve that God's Word was not true and that she would not die.  In fact if she believed him instead of God, she would become like God. We all know what happened and today we all face the same test. Are we going to believe the truth, God's Word or the lies of the devil? Today truth has fallen in the streets, however, God still requires His people to believe the truth, act on the truth, stand up for the truth and fight for the truth. "Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me." ‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭6‬ ‭AMPC. The Lion of the Tribe of Judah Has Triumphed

In Revelation 5, John sees God the Father holding a sealed scroll, however no one in heaven, on earth or under the earth could open the seven seals. John then began to weep because he was so disappointed because he felt as if his expectation was cut off. That's how we sometimes feel when we encounter trials and difficulties in our lives. However, one of the elders told him to stop weeping because the Lion of the tribe of Judah had triumphed. "Then one of the elders [of the heavenly Sanhedrin] said to me, Stop weeping! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root (Source) of David, has won (has overcome and conquered)! He can open the scroll and break its seven seals! [Gen. 49:9, 10; Isa. 11:1, 10; Rev. 22:16]" ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭5‬:‭5‬ ‭AMPC.. Please visit us at www.wearscriptures.com to purchase Christian clothing, mugs, gifts, etc.‬‬

The LORD Knows Those Who Are His

In 2 Timothy, the Apostle Paul in his letter to Timothy exhorts him to be strong in the faith and to avoid false teachings and falsehoods. Timothy was the trusted disciple and missionary partner of the Apostle Paul. Paul had appointed him to lead the church in Ephesus- a church which Paul had planted on his missionary journey. The Apostle Paul warned Timothy to avoid such teachings and to handle the Word of God aright. "Nevertheless, God's solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: "The Lord knows those who are his," and "Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness." Blessed Are the Merciful

God is a merciful God and He desires us to be merciful as well. Mercy can be defined as the compassionate, undeserved and loving treatment of others, particularly by withholding the punishment or judgment that is rightly deserved. God showed mercy to us by sending His Son Jesus to take our place on the cross. God Reigns Over the Nations

As we see the end times happening right before our eyes, God reminds us that He reigns over the nations.  In Psalm 47, God reminds us that He reigns over the nations and He is seated on His holy throne.  God is in control.  The Holy Spirit is here on the earth and the the kings and rulers of the earth are all under His authority.  They all act within His set parameters.  Proverbs 21:1 reminds us that the king's heart is in the hands of the Lord .  He turns it whichever way He chooses like channels of water. Psalm 47:8-9 says, "God reigns over the nations. God sits on His holy throne.....for the kings of the earth belong to God; he is greatly exalted." Prepare the Way for the LORD

In the book of Isaiah, chapters 1-39 addresses the sins of the people and in chapters 40-66, reveals the future of the Coming Messiah, the Righteous King and the new earth. The phrase " Prepare the Way for the LORD" is mentioned in chapter 40. John the Baptist preached "prepare the way for the LORD" before Jesus was revealed to the Jewish people and the world. He told the people they should repent or change their minds about sin, and to produce fruits in keeping with repentance.    We are the John the Baptist generation called to prepare the way for the second coming of King Jesus. Jesus is coming soon. Get ready your heart, get your ready your home, get ready the people of God.   "A voice of one who cries: Prepare in the wilderness the way of the Lord [clear away the obstacles]; make straight and smooth in the desert a highway for our God! [Mark 1:3.] Every valley shall be lifted and filled up, and every mountain and hill shall be made low; and the crooked and uneven shall be made straight and level, and the rough places a plain. And the glory (majesty and splendor) of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken it. "The Lord sat as King over the deluge; the Lord [still] sits as King [and] forever! True Freedom is Only Found in Jesus Christ

The word Freedom is very popular these days and has been in the public's eye quite frequently. Freedom can be defined as the power or right to act, speak , or think as one without hindrance or restraint; the state of not being imprisoned or enslaved. But what is true freedom. In the West, we live in a free environment but many of us are depressed, miserable, addicted to drugs, alcohol, locked up in prisons, hurting, broken families and relationships, financial hardships, broken government, etc. In John 8:32, Jesus tells us that He came to the earth to set us free. If Jesus came to set us free, that means we all need to experience true freedom. "To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." ‭‭John‬ ‭8‬:‭31‬-‭32‬ ‭NIV‬‬ Please visit us at wearscriptures.com to purchase Christian clothing, art, puzzles, etc. Strengthen your faith. The Evangelist Hour - Have You Received God's Gift of Love?

Children are a gift from God. In Luke, the angel Gabriel visited Mary and gave her the good news that God had chosen her to be the mother of Jesus. She would conceive supernaturally. Matthew 1:21 says, "She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people form their sins." Mary received God's gift of love; have you?  God sent Jesus to die for our sins because of His great love for us. Jesus chose to lay down His life for us because He also loves us dearly. The Fear of the Lord is the Beginning of Wisdom

There was a man who feared the Lord and he was a very wise man. God blessed him with wisdom, wealth and riches. However, he stopped being wise because he stopped fearing the Lord. He began to sin greatly against God and began to worship foreign gods. Gods of wood and stone, gods of foreign nations. He hardened his heart towards God and refused to repent. He reaped the consequences of his behavior, but not only him, but the nation of Israel as well. Our decisions and actions affect our spouses, children and families. A leader's decisions and actions affect the entire nation. "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. For through wisdom your days will be many, and years will be added to your life." ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭9‬:‭10‬-‭11‬ ‭NIV‬‬ Also, visit us at wearscriptures.com to purchase Christian clothing, art, puzzles, etc. Strengthen your faith. If You Are Willing and Obedient You Will Eat the Good of the Land

Ecclesiastes 12:13 says, "Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind." ‭‭God requires us to be obedient to His commands. Obedience brings the blessings. God gives us free will, however there are consequences to our choice. If we choose to humble ourselves and obey God, God promises to bless us and give us eternal life. If we choose to disobey God, then we set ourselves as enemies of God and will reap what we have sown.  "If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land; but if you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword. Jesus is the Lord of Heaven and Earth

Jesus is God the Son and He is the Lord or ruler of Heaven and Earth. Before Jesus came to earth in the form of a human being, He lived in heaven ruling and reigning with the Father and the Holy Spirit. After Jesus laid down His life for mankind, God raised Him from the dead and He is alive forevermore. Jesus returned to heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father, and is now ruling and reigning on the earth through His body, the church, His Word and the Holy Spirit. "The God Who produced and formed the world and all things in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in handmade shrines. Neither is He served by human hands, as though He lacked anything, for it is He Himself Who gives life and breath and all things to all [people]. [Isa. 42:5.]" ‭‭Acts‬ ‭17‬:‭24‬-‭25‬ ‭AMPC‬‬. Who Are You Worshipping?

God created us to worship Him alone. Worship means to show reverence and adoration to a deity. In Luke 4, satan tried to bribe Jesus into worshipping him. Jesus refuted him with the Word of God. "The devil led him up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. And he said to him, "I will give you all their authority and splendor; it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to. Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.'" ‭‭Luke‬ ‭4‬:‭5‬-‭6‬, ‭8‬ ‭NIV.  God desires worshippers who worship Him in Spirit and truth. Order Your Steps in God's Word

Every good father communicates with his children. God, our Heavenly Father communicates with us as well. From the very beginning when He created Adam and Eve, God communicated with His children; even after they sinned. God communicated with Abraham, Moses and His prophets throughout history and today He has spoken to us through His Son, Jesus Christ. "In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe." Hebrews‬ ‭1‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NIV‬‬ God has preserved His Word for us, the terminal generation, because He loves us and He desires to show us the path to Him, the author of life. Nothing Can Separate Us from the Love of God

God is love. Everything He does is based upon love. He created the universe, the heavens and the earth because He wanted to share His life and His love with the heavenly beings, human beings and all the creatures in the sky, on the earth and in the seas. God is not a selfish God. Satan, one of God's creation fell from grace. God's love for him was not enough. He wanted to be like God. He wanted to be worshipped and adored like God. He wanted to take God's place and have the heavenly beings and human beings bow down and worship him instead. He wanted to separate us from God's love. Satan deceived Eve and Adam and her chose to disobey God and eat the forbidden fruit. However, God still loved them even though they had sinned and He showed them His supernatural love, grace and mercy.  "…neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭39‬ ‭NIV‬‬  Please subscribe at (wearscripturespodcast.com), to listen to all of our podcasts. Jesus is Lord Over the Storm

The storms of life come to each of us. We all go through physical and spiritual storms. However, Jesus reminds us that He is the Lord over every storm. The storms of life never take Jesus by surprise. They may take us by surprise and we may feel unprepared to go through the storm. However, Jesus saw the storm coming way in advance and has already made preparations for us to overcome the storm. Jesus wants us to look to Him during the storms of life. He is the Lord over every storm. "And He arose and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, Hush now! Be still (muzzled)! Jesus is the Prince of Peace

God created us to live in peace and tranquility. Peace means freedom from disturbance and agitation, tranquility; a state or period in which there is no war or a war has ended. God placed Adam and Eve in a beautiful, peaceful garden. However, they chose to sin and disobey God and they lost their peace. Whenever we disobey God, we lose our peace.   But God is a merciful God. He sent Jesus, the Prince of Peace to restore our peace and to bring world peace.   "For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father [of Eternity], Prince of Peace. [Isa. 25:1; 40:9-11; Matt. 28:18; Luke 2:11.] Of the increase of His government and of peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from the [latter] time forth, even forevermore. Man's Government Will Fail but God's Government Will Never Fail

From the very beginning God showed us that His government is the best and His Laws, His ways of doing things are the best for us. God gave us free will to choose to obey Him and have Him as our King, Lawgiver and Judge. However, our first parents, Adam and Eve, disobeyed God and sinned Him.  However, God sent Jesus, who is the King, Lawgiver and Judge of His kingdom, to lay down His life for us, so we can become members of His kingdom. God's government is an everlasting government and it never fails and will never shut down. God promises to protect and provide for us forever. "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this." ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭9‬:‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬.   Please subscribe at (wearscripturespodcast.com), to listen to all of our podcasts.  Also, visit us at wearscriptures.com to purchase Christian clothing, art, puzzles, etc.  Strengthen your faith.  Wear Scriptures!   If these podcasts have blessed you, please consider helping us to fulfill the great commission.  You can donate at www.paypal.me/wearscriptures. Your gift helps us to fulfill the gospel.  Proverbs 11:25 says, "A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed."

The Prince of This World Has Been Condemned

The title "Prince of this world" is a Biblical term which Jesus uses three times in the scriptures to describe Satan. It means satan holds a temporary authority over the sinful fallen world and its systems operating as a cunning adversary who opposes God and influences humanity through deception and temptation. However, at Jesus' crucifixion, Jesus defeated satan. Jesus said in John 16:11b, "…because the ruler of this world (Satan) has been judged and condemned." ‭‭John‬ ‭16‬:‭11‬ ‭AMP‬‬. Condemn means to sentence someone to a particular punishment, especially death; to pronounce someone guilty and sentence them to punishment. At the cross Jesus defeated sin, death, the grave and satan and liberated mankind. The "prince of this world" has been judged and condemned. #victoryinjesus  Please visit us at https://www.wearscriptures.com to purchase Christian gifts, etc.  If these podcasts have blessed you, please consider helping us to fulfill the great commission.  You can donate at www.paypal.me/wearscriptures.  Proverbs 11:25 says, "A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed."  Shalom.

Jesus is Lord of the Cross

The name Lord means ruler, master or supreme in authority, dominion and rulership. Jesus is Lord and He is Lord over all the earth and the Cross. It means no principality, power or anyone can nullify, invalidate or make void the power of the cross. Neither Satan and his kingdom nor the wicked can cancel what Jesus did at the cross. It is finished. Jesus is Lord of the cross. Jesus defeated sin, death, the devil and the grave. Jesus fulfilled Genesis 3:15 at the cross. Jesus crushed satan's head at the cross. "….The reason the Son of God was revealed was to undo and destroy the works of the devil." ‭‭1 John‬ ‭3‬:‭8‬b TPT‬‬. Greater is He Who Is in Us Than He Who is in the World

We are living in perilous times. However, as God's people we have to remain sober and vigilant for Jesus is returning soon. Jesus knew what the body of Christ would face in the end times so He warned us of false prophets who would attempt to lead us astray. As God's people we need to rely upon the Holy Spirit, who lives in us, to lead and to guide us into all truth. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth. "Little children, you can be certain that you belong to God and have conquered them, for the One who is living in you is far greater than the one who is in the world." ‭‭1 John‬ ‭4‬:‭4‬ ‭TPT‬‬. Jesus Has the Final Say!

Jesus the Christ, is Lord of all and He has the final say. Jesus is the author and the finisher of our faith. He has the final say in our lives, families, cities, nation and the world. It starts and it ends with Jesus. "There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever. "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last."" ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭22‬:‭5‬, ‭12‬-‭13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. Which Lord Do You Serve?

There are many lords but only Jesus is the Lord of Lords. The noun lord means master or ruler. God has made Jesus Christ Lord and Messiah and we should worship Him only. Only Jesus can save us. "If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." ‭‭Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭9‬ ‭NIV‬‬ "For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." ‭‭Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭12‬-‭13‬ ‭NIV‬‬ Jesus is returning to earth soon, not as a baby but as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. God Promises Us Restoration

Restoration means to bring something back to its original condition, to repair or to renew. God promises to restore our health, strength, joy, peace, finances, families and this world. We look forward to God restoring this world to Himself and making all things new.  "Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away (vanished), and there is no longer any sea. [Is 65:17; 66:22] And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, arrayed like a bride adorned for her husband; [John 14:2, 3; Gal 4:26; Heb 11:10] and then I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, "See! The tabernacle of God is among men, and He will live among them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them [as their God,] [Lev 26:11, 12; Ezek 37:27; John 1:14; 1 Cor 3:16, 17] and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be death; there will no longer be sorrow and anguish, or crying, or pain; for the former order of things has passed away." [Is 25:8; 35:10] And He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." Also He said, "Write, for these words are faithful and true [they are accurate, incorruptible, and trustworthy]." Forget What is Behind and Press On Heavenward

The apostle Paul left us a great example for us to follow as believers. What do we do after we receive Jesus and are now Christians? What are we supposed to be doing even after we have been in the faith 10, 20, 25 years, etc. Paul wrote near the end of his earthly life.. "Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭3‬:‭13‬-‭14‬ ‭NIV‬‬. Trust in the LORD With All Your Heart

Trust means the firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something. God, our Heavenly Father, is safe and reliable. We can trust Him.   "Then the Lord came down in the cloud and stood there with him and proclaimed his name, the Lord. And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, "The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation." ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭34‬:‭5‬-‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬   Please visit us at wearscriptures.com to purchase Christian clothing, art, puzzles, etc. Strengthen your faith. God Promises Us Divine Protection

Divine protection is an integral component of the New Covenant. Jesus tells us that it is the thief who comes to steal, kill and destroy but He has come to give us the abundant life. God promises that no one can snatch us out of His hands and no harm shall come to us, if we remain under His wings of protection. "If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. I Say My Purpose Will Stand, and I Will Do as I Please

God's original plan was for us to rule over the earth and live in harmony with Him, our Creator and each other. Satan attempted to thwart God's plan, however, God sent His Son Jesus to die for us and rescue us from sin, death and destruction and restore us to the Father. God is shaking everything that can be shaken to reveal all the idols in our lives. His original purpose and plan still stands. "Declaring the end and the result from the beginning, And from ancient times the things which have not [yet] been done, Saying, 'My purpose will be established, And I will do all that pleases Me and fulfills My purpose,'" ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭46‬:‭10‬ ‭AMP‬‬. Fear the LORD You His People for Those Who Fear Him Lack Nothing

The fear of the LORD is the reverential respect and awe for who He is; the Creator of the universe and all life and that He holds our lives in His hands. If we fear God and obey and live according to His will, He promises to protect, provide and care for us. "Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him. The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing." ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭34‬:‭9‬-‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Please visit us at wearscriptures.com to purchase Christian clothing art, mugs, etc.  Strenghten your faith.  Wear Scriptures!

Are You in Covenant with God?

God instituted the rainbow covenant with Noah and his descendants in Genesis 9. God promised that He would never destroy the earth by flood again. "This is the covenant that I promise to keep: I will never cause water to destroy all living things on the earth again. Deep water will never again come again to destroy the earth.' When I see the rainbow in the clouds, I will remember my covenant. It is a promise that I have made with every kind of living thing on the earth.'" ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭9‬:‭11‬, ‭16‬ ‭EASY‬‬.  However, God has told us in the very near future, He is going to destroy the earth by fire. "The great day of the Lord will suddenly happen. That will surprise people, like when someone comes to rob them. There will be a very loud noise in the sky. The whole sky will go away. Fire will burn the whole universe and it will destroy everything. The earth and everything that people have done on it will then be in the open." ‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3‬:‭10‬ ‭EASY‬‬. God invites us all to enter into the New Covenant, mediated by His Son Jesus, and have our sins forgiven so that we can save ourselves from this wicked and corrupt generation and the soon coming destruction that is to come upon the earth. Heaven and Earth Will Pass Away but God's Words Will Never Pass Away

In Mathew 24, Jesus tells us that Heaven and earth shall pass away but His Words will never pass away. Jesus is the Word of God and the Word of God is eternal. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God." ‭‭John‬ ‭1‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ We can trust God's Word to sustain us when we encounter trials in this world. God Has Called Us to Walk in Our Spiritual Inheritance

We who have received Jesus have been adopted into God's family.  We are sons, daughters and heirs of the Most High God. God has given us a spiritual inheritance and He wants us to walk in it.  Jesus told us in John 10:10, "It is the thief who comes to steal, kill and destroy, but I have come to give you life, and life more abundantly." "Becasue you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, "Abba, Father."  So you are no longer a slave, but God's child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir," Galatians 4:-6-7. Let God Be True and Every Man a Liar

God cannot lie.  The Bible tells us He is not a man that He should lie nor a son of man that He should change His mind.  All of us have lied but God has never lied.  In writing to the Romans, the apostle Paul explains to both the Jews and Gentile Christians in Rome, that just because many of the Jews failed to obey God's Word, it does not nullify God's faithfulness and the truth of His Word. "What if some were unfaithful? Will their unfaithfulness nullify God's faithfulness? Not at all! Let God be true, and every human being a liar. As it is written: "So that you may be proved right when you speak and prevail when you judge." ‭‭Romans‬ ‭3‬:‭3‬-‭4‬ ‭NIV‬‬" Please subscribe at (wearscripturespodcast.com), to listen to all of our podcasts.
