This week Jaimee continued our series through the sermon on the mount, reading from Matthew 5:38-42.She leaves us with the following questions to reflect upon this week: What might it look like to respond to evil without violence? What do Jesus’ words and actions say about how his followers should respond to violence, both physically and emotionally? Who or what are the evildoers in your life that you have been ignoring or passive towards? Who or what are the evildoers in your life that you have been violent towards, physically, emotionally or otherwise? How might Jesus be calling you to actively resist evil with love and to respond to badness with good?
