When we approach God in prayer, we often have a specific request in mind. It might be for healing, provision, or guidance, but many times we approach Him with what we think is the solution. The challenge for Christians is learning to trust that God’s response, whether it aligns with our desires or not, is always for our good. The Bible teaches that God gives us what we need, which is not always what we want—and sometimes, it is something we do not want at all.
