    True Happiness

"Most folks are about as happy as they make up their minds to be," Abraham Lincoln once said. That quote may strike a chord with many, but it invites a deeper question: Are you truly happy? Not the fleeting satisfaction that comes from possessions, achievements, or circumstances, but the lasting joy that transcends life’s trials. The Christian life holds the keys to this joy, and it is only through a relationship with God that we can experience true inner peace and contentment.God bless,TBfor Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. Joy to the World...

The holiday season is upon us, and with it comes the familiar chorus of Christians reminding the world that Jesus was not born on December 25. While the factual accuracy of that statement is important, what concerns me is how some Christians handle this time of year. Instead of seizing the opportunity to point people to Jesus, they seem to wield the occasion like a club, ensuring anyone not already in the pews feels guilty, unwelcome, or outright terrible about the whole idea of Jesus’ birth. If we’re supposed to be the light of the world, why are we so often the first to blow out the candle when others might actually notice it?God bless,TBfor Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. Looking Back

Genesis 19:26 states, “But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.” This verse contains a powerful warning. Jesus Himself emphasized its importance with the words, “Remember Lot’s wife” (Luke 17:32). Her tragic end stands as a testimony to the spiritual peril of disobedience, divided loyalty, and failing to leave sin behind. In this passage, we find lessons both for those awakening to the need for salvation and for those in danger of falling away.God bless,TBfor Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. We Got Everything We Wanted

We Got Everything We WantedWill We Preach or Stay Silent? The words of Jeremiah are as piercing today as they were when first spoken: “The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof” (Jeremiah 5:31). The parallels between the state of Judah in Jeremiah’s day and modern America are striking. The leadership of our nation may not claim divine authority, but the spiritual condition of the people—and the response of Christians—raises the same question: What will we do in the end?God bless,TBfor Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. Paul’s Divine Authority

In Galatians chapter one, Paul makes a bold and necessary defense of his apostleship. The Galatians were being misled by false teachers, and Paul needed to re-establish his authority, not for his own sake, but for the preservation of the true gospel. His claim to authority rested on a simple truth: his message came directly from Jesus Christ. It was not taught to him by any man. This divine origin was essential to Paul’s defense and forms the basis for why we, even today, can trust his message.God bless,TB for Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. God Provides What We Need,

When we approach God in prayer, we often have a specific request in mind. It might be for healing, provision, or guidance, but many times we approach Him with what we think is the solution. The challenge for Christians is learning to trust that God’s response, whether it aligns with our desires or not, is always for our good. The Bible teaches that God gives us what we need, which is not always what we want—and sometimes, it is something we do not want at all. This is a hard truth, but one that, when understood, deepens our faith and strengthens our relationship with God.God bless,TB for Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. Deconstructing Christianity

In recent years, the term “deconstruction” has gained popularity among those who grew up in the church or who once held to Christianity but now find themselves questioning or even abandoning their beliefs. For many, deconstruction represents a process of breaking down the beliefs they once held to reassess them. While critical thinking and examination of faith are important, there is a real danger in this modern trend of deconstructing Christianity. What starts as an effort to understand faith more deeply can easily lead to doubt, rejection of scripture, and an eventual departure from the truth.God bless,TBfor Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. Before You Sign

When visiting a doctor’s office for the first time, patients are often asked to fill out paperwork. Most of the time, the forms are harmless — insurance information, medical history, and consent to treatment. However, during an intake for a new doctor, I was presented with a document that stood out to me. It wasn’t just a typical consent form. It was a document asking me to agree to follow the doctor’s treatment regimen completely, with no stipulations, exceptions, or clarifications. In essence, it was an open-ended vow of obedience to the doctor’s judgment.God bless,TB for Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. Obligation

In Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time series, the journey of the three main characters—Rand al’Thor, Perrin Aybara, and Mat Cauthon—serves as a powerful narrative of growing into adulthood, not just through the trials they face but through how they live their lives in response to obligation. Each character is thrust into a destiny far greater than themselves, and their eventual success is rooted in how they live with that responsibility. This journey mirrors the biblical concept of living selflessly for a higher purpose, teaching timeless lessons that Christians today can draw from the scriptures.God bless,TBfor Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. Make God Great Again

The success of a nation does not lie in the coronation of a king or the election of a president. It isn’t found in military strength or a thriving economy. True success is found when a nation bows before King Jesus in humble submission to His will. The Word of God is clear: a nation’s downfall comes when it rejects God and His Son, and history, both in scripture and beyond, consistently shows this truth. Today, we find ourselves in a time where many are calling for change, for power shifts, and for solutions to society’s problems. Yet the one thing that truly matters is being ignored. Our nation needs to resolve to make God great again, instead of turning away from Him.God bless,TBfor Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. The Balance of Christian Living

As Christians, we understand that our lives should be centered on serving God, yet finding the right balance between different responsibilities can be challenging. Whether it is time spent with family, serving in the church, working to provide for our needs, or finding moments of rest and recreation, achieving balance is essential to living a faithful and effective Christian life. Each of these aspects of life has its rightful place, and as followers of Christ, we must learn how to manage them according to biblical principles.God blessTBor Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. Sarcasm and Rudeness

The popular image of Jesus is often one of gentleness and endless patience, but Scripture provides a fuller picture. Jesus was no stranger to using harsh language, sarcasm, and what would be considered rudeness by our modern standards. Yet, He always spoke with purpose, never for personal offense but to expose hypocrisy, confront falsehood, and challenge those whose priorities were misplaced. In several instances, Jesus acted in ways that both the people of His time and today’s society would consider rude. However, His actions and words were perfectly aligned with divine justice and truth.God bless,TBor Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. Kindness and TruthThe Dangerous ConfusionIn our modern world, the line between kindness and dishonesty has blurred. Somewhere along the way, people began confusing kindness with lying, thinking they are doing good by sparing feelings or avoiding conflict. The Marriage Covenant:

It is a mistake to think that a marriage lasting 20, 30, or even 50 years was sustained by luck. If that’s how someone sees it, they are missing the entire point of what marriage truly is. A marriage that lasts, and I mean really lasts, doesn’t happen because two people floated along in some fairytale. It takes grit, determination, and a whole lot of work. The world today might say, “If it’s too hard, get out.” That mindset has caused untold damage to homes and souls. But those who keep their vows know better. Marriage requires sacrifice, forgiveness, and—above all—stubborn will.God bless,TBfor Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. In the World, But Not of the World

In the prayer recorded in John 17:14-16, Jesus, speaking to the Father, made a clear distinction between His disciples and the world. He said, "I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world." In these verses, we find a profound teaching on the Christian's place in the world and the necessity of maintaining a clear separation in conduct, thought, and allegiance.\God bless,TB for Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. Can Two Walk Together, Except They Be Agreed?

Amos, the prophet from Tekoa, asked a probing question in Amos 3:3 that resonates deeply with the relationship between man and God. He inquired, “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” Here, Amos was speaking directly to the spiritual condition of Israel, a people who had forsaken their covenant with God, choosing idolatry and sin over obedience and righteousness. The question Amos posed not only confronted their failure but also laid a foundational truth for all time: Agreement with God is necessary for fellowship.God bless,TB for Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. Building Unity

The way we treat one another within the body of Christ is a matter of great spiritual importance. When we talk about our walk with the Lord, it is necessary to consider how our actions and words impact our brethren. Causing a brother to fall, or stumble in their faith, is a serious offense, one that Jesus Himself spoke of with strong words.God bless,TBfor Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. Mercy and Judgment

One of the most pressing concerns for many Christians is the question of assurance—how can we know for certain that we are saved? While we often affirm that we can have this confidence in Christ, doubts can creep in, especially when we realize that we do not always fully understand everything perfectly or fear that we may have gotten something wrong. Yet, the scriptures provide us with clear guidance on how we can be assured of our salvation in Christ. One of the key principles that grants us this assurance is the relationship between mercy and judgment.God bless,TBfor Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. The Cost of True Worship

In 2 Samuel 24:24, we encounter one of the clearest examples of the importance of sacrifice in worship. After David had sinned by numbering the people, God sent a plague upon Israel, and to stop the plague, David was instructed to build an altar and offer sacrifices. Araunah, the Jebusite, offered his threshing floor and oxen to David freely. Yet David, the man after God’s own heart, refused to accept it as a gift, stating, "Neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the Lord my God of that which doth cost me nothing." David’s understanding of the nature of worship speaks to the essential truth that our offerings to God must be more than just superficial actions. They must reflect the cost and value we place on God.God bless,TBfor Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. Knowing We Know Nothing

Socrates famously asserted, I know that I am intelligent, because I know that I know nothing. Though this statement arises from a distinctly Greek philosophical tradition, the essence of the sentiment finds resonance in the Christian scriptures. The Bible frequently confronts the limitations of human knowledge and the necessity of humility before the omniscience of God. From the earliest writings of the Old Testament to the teachings of the apostles, a theme emerges: true wisdom lies in acknowledging the finitude of human understanding and relying on the divine revelation given by God.Got bless,TBfor Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. Turning Aside

In Exodus 3, Moses finds himself at a significant turning point in his life. While living as a shepherd in Midian, far removed from his previous life in Egypt, Moses encounters the burning bush at Mount Horeb. This encounter is a pivotal moment, marking a major change in Moses’ life direction. Yet, what stands out in this story is not just the miraculous nature of the burning bush, but Moses’ choice to turn aside and investigate. This decision would ultimately lead him to his calling as the leader of Israel.God bless,TBfor Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected]#christianitynow #christianitytoday #varietyshow #bibletime #biblestudy #gospel #biblequestions #bibleanswers #venting #gossip #bibletalk#biblepodcast #christiancontent #christianliving #biblicalworldview #faithjourney #fatihwalk #biblestudy #biblereading #contraceptive#birthcontrol #abortion This is a public episode. The Dangers of Being Hyper-Critical

Criticism can be helpful when it’s done with the right spirit and intent. However, a hyper-critical attitude, where a person constantly finds fault without offering solutions or seeing the bigger picture, is harmful. Christians and Politics

There is a growing mindset among some Christians that choosing not to participate in the political process is a sign of heightened spirituality. Many signal their supposed moral superiority by disengaging, while simultaneously mourning the ever-increasing decline of the moral condition of society. Yet, such an approach fails to align with the responsibilities laid forth in scripture. Rather than being a demonstration of virtue, this withdrawal leaves a vacuum, one that others—who may not share biblical convictions—are more than willing to fill.God bless,TBfor Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. The Best Way We Honor 9/11

In the aftermath of the September 11, 2001, attacks, Americans witnessed a tragedy that shook the nation to its core. It was a day of great sorrow and loss, as countless lives were taken in an act of evil. Yet, amidst the darkness of that day, the character of a nation began to shine more clearly on the following day, September 12. People came together, not as divided individuals, but as one united people. This unity, this strength, this compassion—this was the defining spirit of September 12.God bless,TB for Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. Serving Like Christ

In Philippians 2:2-11, Paul gives an exhortation to the brethren at Philippi, calling upon them to "fulfil [his] joy" by being likeminded, having the same love, and being of one accord and one mind. These qualities of unity and brotherly love, however, are rooted in a much deeper virtue: the humility of mind that esteems others better than self (Philippians 2:3). In this passage, Paul points the brethren to the highest example of humble service—the example of Christ Himself.God bless,TB for Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. Righteous Judgment

The Bible, as the inspired and all-sufficient Word of God, speaks often and plainly on the matter of justice and righteousness. The role of judges in God's economy is of vital importance, as they serve not only the people but also the Lord Himself. A faithful judge is required to render decisions with integrity, according to the law of God, without partiality, and free from corruption. The acceptance of bribes is condemned throughout Scripture, as it is a practice that perverts justice, blinds the wise, and leads to sin. Let us explore what the Word of God teaches on the necessity of righteous judgment and the prohibition against bribery.God bless,TB for Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. The Joy of Forgiveness

The burden of guilt is one of the heaviest weights a soul can carry. For those outside of Christ, the weight of sin is constant, unrelenting, and spiritually destructive. Imagine, if you will, having to bear the guilt of every sin committed since the day you reached the age of accountability, when you became responsible for your thoughts and actions before God. The overwhelming burden of knowing that every impure thought, every idle word, every unrighteous deed is still charged to your account, would be unbearable. This verse reads, “We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.” In this passage, John emphasizes the distinctiveness of the Christian life and the divine protection that God grants to His children. This seemingly simple aspect of our daily interactions holds profound implications for our spiritual health and the well-being of those around us. As Christians striving to live according to God's Word, we must cultivate wisdom and discernment in our communication. True Repentance

Repentance is a foundational doctrine in Christianity, representing a change in the heart of a believer. It is not a superficial adjustment but a thorough transformation, where the love of sin is replaced by a desire for righteousness. This change begins with the acknowledgment of sin and culminates in a life characterized by a deep hatred of sin and a commitment to living in accordance with God's will. Christian Stewardship in Civic Duty

The role of a Christian in government is a topic that often stirs deep contemplation. Many believers grapple with whether their participation in civic duties, particularly voting, aligns with their faith. Some may feel disillusioned by the available options, leading to a temptation to abstain from voting altogether. However, Scripture provides guidance that encourages active engagement in the governance of society, highlighting the importance of voting even when the choices seem less than ideal.God bless,TBfor Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. The Essential Conflict in Marriage

Marriage is not a mere social construct or a convenience designed to provide mutual benefits. It is a crucible, a place of transformation where two individuals are challenged, refined, and ultimately brought to a higher understanding of themselves and the world around them. The very nature of marriage demands that we confront our own flaws, our blind spots, and the limitations of our perspective. It is through this confrontation that we grow, but it is also through this confrontation that we find conflict, tension, and discomfort.God bless,TBfor Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. The Role of the Church in a Secular Society

In a world that increasingly marginalizes the influence of the Church, the role of believers as salt and light remains paramount. Jesus Christ’s teachings in the Sermon on the Mount provide a blueprint for how Christians ought to engage with the surrounding culture. The church's mission is not to accommodate or conform to secular ideologies, but to stand as a beacon of truth and righteousness in a darkened world. This article explores the vital role the Church must play in maintaining its God-given identity as salt and light within a secular society.God bless,TBfor Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. The Essential Nature of Community

In our modern, individualistic society, there is a dangerous and pervasive lie that has taken root: the belief that we can go it alone, that we can be our own gods, and that we have no need for the community. But this is a direct contradiction of God’s design for humanity. The Bible tells us that we are social creatures, made for relationship with God and with one another. Our very nature cries out for connection, and when that connection is severed, it leads to suffering and despair.God bless,TBfor Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. Liberal Theology in Churches

In recent years, there has been a noticeable shift within many churches. This shift is not just in worship styles, music preferences, or methods of outreach. Instead, it is a deeper, more insidious change—a theological drift that threatens the very foundation of the faith. At the heart of this drift lies the infiltration of liberal theology, a worldview that seeks to reshape the gospel message to fit the cultural norms of the day rather than standing firm on the unchanging truth of Scripture.God bless,TB for Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. The Power of the Psalms

In the journey of life, every person will encounter seasons of both joy and sorrow. There are times when the path is clear, the sky is bright, and the soul is at peace. Yet, there are also times when the way seems obscured, darkness looms, and the heart is heavy. Such is the human experience, filled with peaks and valleys, triumphs and trials. But in every circumstance, whether in moments of elation or in the depths of despair, there is one constant that remains: the steadfast love and faithfulness of Almighty God.God bless,TBfor Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. How Doctrinal Error Leads to Moral Failure

Throughout church history, the relationship between doctrine and morality has proven to be inextricably linked. The purity of a church's doctrine inevitably impacts the moral fiber of its members. When doctrinal error takes root, moral decline often follows. This article will explore historical instances where deviations from biblical truth have led to significant moral failures, drawing lessons that are still relevant for the Church today.God bless,TBfor Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. Avoiding the Cult of Personality

In today's church, we face an increasingly prevalent issue: the rise of the celebrity preacher. The phenomenon has seeped into the fabric of modern Christianity, creating a dangerous focus on the personalities of men rather than the truth of God’s Word. It is imperative that believers discern the inherent risks in elevating any man above the message of the Gospel. Scripture is clear: our allegiance is to Christ alone, and the moment we begin to prioritize a preacher over the preached Word, we tread on perilous ground.God bless,TB for Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. A Tale of Three Churches

In today's church landscape, there are three prevailing approaches to addressing sinners. The first church, influenced by modern liberalism, opens its doors wide, welcoming sinners without calling them to repentance. The second church, steeped in legalism, refuses entry to those who have not yet cleaned up their lives. The third church, however, follows the biblical model exemplified by Jesus Christ: it welcomes sinners with the understanding that true transformation is not optional but essential, and this transformation is accomplished through the power of the gospel and obedience to the Word.God bless, TB for Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. Social Justice vs. Biblical Justice

In today's world, the buzzwords "equality" and "equity" dominate the conversation, especially when it comes to social justice. We’re told that if we really care about justice, we must embrace these ideas wholeheartedly. But as Christians, we must ask ourselves: are these concepts rooted in the Bible, or have we adopted them from a culture that is increasingly hostile to the authority of Scripture?God bless,TBfor Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. One Body, One Lord, One Faith

In the scriptures, we find a clear and unified message about the nature of the church, the gospel, and salvation. Ephesians 4:4-6 states, "There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all." Despite this clear biblical mandate for unity, the modern Christian landscape is fragmented with numerous denominations and conflicting doctrines. This disparity raises important questions about the nature of truth, the role of scripture, and the influence of human interpretation.God bless,TBfor Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. The "11th Commandment"

In recent years, a troubling trend has emerged within the Christian community. This trend, which is often referred to as the "11th Commandment" - "Thou shalt be nice" - has gained significant traction. This unwritten rule emphasizes niceness over the truth of God's Word and prioritizes avoiding offense over proclaiming the gospel's uncompromising message. This rise in popularity poses a significant danger to the integrity of Christian faith and practice.God bless,TB for Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and emailto: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. The Foundation of Morality

Morality serves as the backbone of society, a guiding force that prevents communities from descending into chaos and self-destruction. The question of where morality originates is pivotal in understanding human behavior and societal dynamics. Is morality a human invention, an evolving set of principles shaped by cultural and social development, or does it stem from a higher, divine source?God bless,TB for Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. Fulfilling the Law

In Matthew 5:17-20, Jesus delivers a message about the Law and the Prophets, emphasizing His mission to fulfill them rather than abolish them. These verses, part of the Sermon on the Mount, reveal Jesus’ teaching on righteousness, the kingdom of heaven, and the true nature of obedience to God’s commands. Unlike the Pharisees, who were often criticized for adhering to human traditions over God’s Word, Jesus calls for a deeper, authentic righteousness that aligns with God’s will. This message is crucial for understanding Christian living in the 21st century.God bless,TB for Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. Remembering Nehemiah

Nehemiah’s plea in Nehemiah 13:31, “Remember me; O my God, for good,” stands as a powerful testament to his dedication and commitment to God’s service. This request encapsulates Nehemiah's earnest desire for divine recognition of his faithfulness. His leadership, marked by integrity and a relentless pursuit of spiritual and communal reform, raises significant questions about our own spiritual journeys and the nature of divine remembrance.God bless,TB for Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. The Journey of Faith

Have you ever pondered why the end of a journey often feels more rewarding than the beginning? In the Bible, the notion that "the end of a thing is better than the beginning" is highlighted in Ecclesiastes 7:8: "Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit." This wisdom serves as a reminder of the importance of perseverance and faithfulness throughout one's life. As believers, while the initial excitement of beginning a journey with Christ through baptism is significant, the culmination of a life lived in faith is far greater. This concept is vividly illustrated in the life of King Asa, a ruler whose reign began with great promise but ended in spiritual decline.God bless,TBfor Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode. The Winsome Approach to Christianity

The winsome approach to Christianity emphasizes making the faith attractive and appealing to others. While the intention may be to draw people to Christ, this method presents significant theological and practical issues. It often leads to consumerism within the church and deviates from the biblical model of evangelism.God bless,TB for Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected] sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynowYou can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected] This is a public episode.
