In this episode, we examine the gifts of the Holy Spirit as revealed through the Word of God. When we open God's Word with honest and careful study, we find that Scripture speaks clearly about these gifts — what they were, why they were given, and what the Bible says about their purpose and duration.   The apostle Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 12:4-7 (KJV), "Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal." This foundational passage from God's Word reminds us that the gifts of the Holy Spirit were never given for personal glory but for the greater purpose of God working through His people. When we commit ourselves to what the Bible actually says about the gifts of the Holy Spirit, we find that Scripture is sufficient to cut through the confusion and false claims that surround this subject today — grounding us firmly in what God has revealed and equipping us to rightly understand the Spirit's work — strengthening our confidence in God's Word as our reliable and authoritative guide.
