GOD TURNS SINNERS INTO SAINTS; A NEW YEAR MEDITATION

We celebrate the New Year but far better is the celebration of new life described by Paul; "If anyone is in Christ he is a new creation; the old has passed away behold the new has come." The sermon based on 1 cor. 6:11, explains the threefold work of the Holy Spirit by which sinners are transformed into saints (or true believers). They are washed (regenerated), sanctified (set apart), and justified (decreed righteous in His sight) bringing them into a new relationship with God and the assurance of belonging to Him through faith in Christ.
