Goddesses & Government!
from Low Mein's Asylum Show Hosted by Low Mein
In this week's episode, I discussed how Donald Trump’s plan to send migrants to the wrong country was denied and the implications of that decision. It was a deep dive into the controversy surrounding his immigration strategies and the legal and political obstacles that came with it. I also covered Erykah Badu’s stunning look at the awards this week. She wore an outfit that gave off major vibes of an African fertility goddess. The goddess, often depicted as the nurturing and life-giving force, represents fertility, abundance, and the cycle of life. Erykah’s choice to channel this goddess not only highlighted her bold fashion sense but also paid homage to African culture and its powerful symbolism. Tune in for a breakdown of both topics and much more!
