Have you ever made a plea with someone who was walking the wrong path of life? Imagine the emotions that come flooding that moment? God is pleading and inviting Israel to flee and renounce their sin through repentance and return to Him. God peels back His anger and wrath that they may be healed and restored. His desire is to forgo the pain that will come from continual abiding in sin & transgression against His way, word, and statutes.
