The choice that determines your eternity: 2 Gates Matthew 7:13-14
Jesus ends His sermon on the Mount with choices. These choices will lead us to a final destination. Today, we discover that Jesus identifies 2 gates that have 2 roads with 2 different crowds and lead to 2 different destinations. What gate you choose to enter will determine the road and destination. Can we get off the wide and easy road? Yes we can! But we must then go through the narrow gate with a difficult path. The Christian life is not easy! It’s fraught with difficulty. Salvation is not hard. We are saved by God’s grace at the expense of Jesus Christ. It is His work at Calvary and tomb that brings us salvation. The hardship is taking this gate and road that is contrary to the nature of sin and the wisdom of the world. Come and hear the word of the Lord! Let it penetrate your soul, that you may examine what gate you have entered. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

When love finds its voice John 3:16 & John 21:20
Love is not what we define as love. God is love and He defines love. For us to understand Chav, or love that exists regardless of our opinions. Love exists but cannot sing unless it is reciprocated. Today, we discover that love is very different than what Tina Turner told us. Love is not a second hand emotion. God is never Willy-nilly about His love. God chose to love us even while we were still sinners and rebellious. He wants love to be complete in us - to sing over us! That requires our response to the Love of God. The fruit of love is obedience. You have to choose what you will do with Jesus Christ. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

The lessons from distress or affliction Jonah 2 (part 3)
Have you ever been in a distressing or some heavy affliction in your life? What if anything did you learn from that moment? Come this morning and find practical lessons from a prophet who found himself in a very ugly and despairing circumstance. Jonah comes to the end of himself in a hopeless situation and cries out in desperation. There are lessons the Lord gives us through Jonah’s prayer that we can apply in our own life today, especially if we find ourselves in a Jonah-season. Come and hear the word of the Lord. Fear, the missing factor Jonah 1:10-17
Have we lost the fear of the Lord in the church age? Or is it a factor that has been taken for granted and or perhaps not held as a major part of our salvation process? Come with me as we study and talk about the second part of Jonah’s disobedient choice to run. We find him on the boat faced with either confessing or denying the truth. What can we learn from this encounter between Jonah, this crew of sailors, God, and this huge fish? Come and hear the word of the Lord, anyone who has ears to hear. Hosted on Acast.
