Praise the Lord, welcome to God's place, party for Jesus' ministry. It's always an honor and a privilege to be here to serve the Lord, hear my beautiful wife, Shannon. And you know, if I was to say we're overcomers by the blood of the land, by the word of our testimony. And so what God has done in our lives is just amazing.
That's why we're here. You know what, not too many years ago, I was in a coma, in a coma for about 37 days. The doctors had given up hope on me. They told my mother, well, there's nothing we can do.
Said, actually, my destatement said, don't even, said, you know, there's no use of praying. God can't bring him back. But you know, praise the Lord through God, all things as possible. Everybody given up hope, my mother had my obituary that's already going to paper.
My casket's been purchased and God sent a preacher, and laid his hand on me. He said, Lord, if you just walk by and let him test your government, said he'll come up from America. And he did just that. But he let me wake up at Hills Dorifar's day.
And I thank God for that because I saw the gate, I saw the devil. And obviously the fear of the Lord is beginning to wisdom. And so when God pulled me up, he told me, he said, you know, that when he brought me back from the gate of hell, he told me that my life's not about me. It's all about serving him and doing his work.
And he told me that if I didn't get my life to him, then I would, you know, that's where I'd end up in hell. And so I started thinking, man, I just need to get addicted to God. And like I was all the things in the world, you know, the Bible tells you, put no other guys before him. And so, you know, the Bible says in Psalms 25, 14, that God will reveal his secrets to those who fear him.
So I mean, in reality, that put a fear in me that you couldn't imagine, you know? And so I realized that, you know, my ways were not working. You know, so I started really sick and God my whole heart. And he started revealing things that I never heard anybody preach.
It was completely different. You know, first of all, God had to teach me really how to read. When God called me to preach, I never read a book in my whole life. You know, he's a, you know, Holy Spirit, God is amazing God.
He said, my Spirit would teach you all things. And so, but anyways, I would say with my Bible in front of my Bible for hours at a time, the Holy Spirit would start speaking to me and telling me, you know, to look things up and stuff. And so this is a scripture that God had given me, you know, that I want to share with everybody here today. And it's Ezekiel chapter three, verse 20, he says, again, when a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness in committed equity, I'll last them about before him.
And he shall die because they'll has not given him a warning. He shall die and is sin. And the righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered. But his blood will be required at Thy hand.
And so, you know, it's, that was a scripture that really stood out to me because, you know, I was raised, I vibed us and you're saved and you're good and everything's okay as long as you believe in Jesus. But, you know, this is the same way the righteous man does turn from his righteousness in committed equity, which is sin. So God will put a stomach about before him and he shall die and sins. And the righteousness that he has done will be remembered no more.
But then he goes on to tell us, you know, as if we not warn the righteous person, then the blood is required on Thy hands. And so, you know, today's society and, you know, the culture of the church world today, it's like everybody, you know, we talk about Jesus says and he loves and he does. I mean, he's a loving, merciful, gracious God. And but it's our job.
It's once we know the truth. It's our job to go out and let people know, you know, what God expects from us. You know, there's a scripture in 1st Corinthians 4, I think 14 through 17, it said this world has 10,000 structures, but very few fathers for this cause. I said, my son, Timothy, who loves the Lord and faithful the Lord to go back and bring to remembrance of my ways of living.
And so, you know, it's throughout the generations. And it's just really, we've gotten further away from God's word. I mean, it's amazing to me how people don't even preach commandments no more. A lot of people don't preach commandments.
I mean, I'm not talking about everybody, but you know, it's, you know, and that's what the Bible tells us in the book of Thessalonians. He tells us that God put us in the trust with the gospel, that we not speak pleasing to God, not, help me, Jesus, that we not speak pleasing to me and but pleasing to God. He tells us in the book of Isaiah in chapter 58, he tells us to sound our trumpets. And rise up our voices.
He says right here in Isaiah chapter 58 verse 1, he says cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice, like a trumpet and show my people their transgressions in the house of Jacob, their sins. And he's talking about, who's his people, the church is his people, amen. And we live in the last hours and, you know, the Bible said we know the last days by the, he said there'll be signs in the sun, the moon, the waves of orange, the stress in the nation. Well, with all this coronavirus and all this going on, I've never seen so much stress.
The world has changed so much. You know, in the last year, the Bible said to be earthquakes and diver places and we're seeing it everywhere. I mean, all the signs are here really guys. So it's really time for, you know, for the leaders.
I mean, the blood is required on our hands and we gotta quit trying to praise God to make friends. And of course, God is a loving, merciful, gracious, God, everything's gotta be done in love. But we need to warn people and let people know. I mean, you know, a lot of churches, there's not even outer calls.
I just don't understand that, you know, God has called us to preach, to preach the gospel. The word of God, it's quick and it's powerful and it's sharpened to the soul. You know, the spirit of conviction, that's a gift from God. Without conviction, nobody gets saved.
And so we're supposed to preach hard. Paul said, if I say to you, please, me and I should not be a server cross. In Jeremiah chapter 23, she's woken to my pastor's that scattered my sheep. And you know, what I see today is a lot of, you know, a lot of people that are like I said, are trying to build, to me, it's like they're building the churches kingdom, you know, because you're not gonna build God's kingdom by making people feel good and feel comfortable by living a sinful life.
You know, the thing that bothers me the most is, we got people sitting in churches for years. I'm talking about, we got people, you know, 60, 70, 80 years old that's been sitting there, you know, for 20, 30 years, it's really never committed and give their loss to the Lord. The biggest thing that brought my attention was the fact when people get saved, not many people explain to them what that really means. They don't explain that, you know, when you ask God to believe in God with your heart and amen, and know that he was a praise God, that he was crucified and resurrected on the third day, and you ask him, you confess your sins and ask him to come in your heart, you know, praise Lord, that's the first step.
But then your life becomes God's. He says, you know, he's supposed to be our Lord, enter Savior, everybody wants to save you, but God wants to be our Lord. In Luke 646, he said, why, that costs me, Lord, and not do what I say. So, you know, the Bible says in 1st, preaching at 620, he said, you're bought with a price.
He said, glorify me and your body and your spirit. 1st, preaching at chapter 7, verse 23, said you bought with a price, he said, be not a man, but be a servant of God. And so, you know, somebody came to the church just last week and said, I want to be saved. I said, well, you know what that means.
That means when you get down and ask God to come in your heart and save you, you've got to turn from your sin. You've got to quit, you've got to quit smoking cigarettes. You've got to quit sleeping with your girlfriend. You've got to surrender, give her life to Christ.
Amen, the Bible said he does in Christ, it's a new creation. So, don't things pass away and behold all things become new. There's a false doctrine going around and it's been going around for years just because you believe in Jesus that you're going to be saved. I mean, and they're taking it from John 3, 16, God's love the world that he gave his only begotten son, who should never believe on him, should not perish but have everlasting life.
But in order to believe in somebody, you have to know him. And that's why the Bible says in 1st John 2, 4, if you say you know me and not obey my commandments in your liar and the truth is not in you. 1st John 1, 6, he says, if you say you have fellowship with God and you walk in darkness in your liar. And you know, so, you know, it's not just believing there is a God.
I want you to know that the devil knows that there's a God. Amen, but the devil's are not going to go to heaven. And unless you surrender and give your life to Christ, you're not going to the neither. And we've got to warn these folks.
We've got to let these as being watchments, as being pastors, as being a shepherd. Amen, we have got to take care of God's sheep. And, you know, and I tell you, I mean, God don't, he don't intend for us to be sheep for years. Amen, once you have the truth and you can face your sins and you've got to come to heart and save you, then praise the Lord, then you need to grow up and be a shepherd quickly also.
You know, we all got a responsibility as being servants of the Lord. You know, he wants to make us all disciples. Many are called but few are chosen. Well, praise God, why are a few chosen?
Because there's very few people that will surrender and give it all off to Christ. Everybody wants to hang on to something. Most people, you know, I'm sorry. And, you know, he tells us, there's many false prophets and many shall follow the pernicious ways and the way of the truth will be evil spoken of.
And he says, men will turn their ears from the truth and turn to fables. You know, that's false. That's the false doctrine you're talking about. But I really think that's part of the strong delusion that God talks about in Second Testilonians.
He says that he will send him a strong delusion that they might believe a lie, because they believe not, that they might be saved. And see, that's part of that strong delusion. You know, they're turning from the truth. They're turning from, you know, well, you know, God's word says I'm saved and then I'm saved.
I'm sealed to the day of redemption. You know, and yes, we do have the seal of the Holy Spirit. But the Bible tells us the defile, not your temple, or God's shall destroy in 1 Corinthians 37. The Bible tells us in 1 Timothy 6, 12, he says, hold on to eternal life.
You know, that you have made a good profession among men, but that you may hold on to fight the good Father faith. So when that's how we hold on, we continue to fight with God's word and that's how we hold on to the truth. Paul said, praise God, Paul said fight the Father good faith. I mean, it's a fight, it's a struggle.
And go ahead, I mean, you can do it. And you know, the truth is that, you know, God says that his word will make you free. So, you know, in John 832, and he says, you should know the truth and the truth to make you free. But right before that, he says, if you continue in my word, you shall indeed be my disciple.
So if you're not being made free and you're not continuing in the word, that means continue to be made free, continue to surrender, continue to decrease, so he can increase, continue to fill your mind with the things of cross and not the things of the world. The Bible tells us in Romans 35, he says those that among the things of the flesh or the flesh and those that among the things of the Spirit are of the Spirit. So the Bible tells us that, you know, we're supposed to think on these things that whatsoever is true whatsoever is good whatsoever is good whatsoever is holy whatsoever is good report. If there be any virtue, there'd be any praise to think on these things.
So we've got to deny ourselves, you know. You know, what came to me right then is the key of it is, is getting a personal relationship with God, with Jesus Christ, getting saved as the first step. You know, God forgets you for all your sins and his Spirit moves in. But then so many people is trying to put their faith into their pastor and whoever their teacher might be.
And the Bible warns us that, you know, in the last days there'll be many false prophets and many false teachers and many shall follow their pernicious ways. Well, you can't get a personal relationship with God through me or through another pastor or through your grandma or yourself. You've got to prove your own self-helpself. It's the key of it is getting that first commandment where you truly love God with your whole heart, your mind, your soul, and your strength.
You know, he tells us, you know, in Matthew chapter, chapter, chapter 38, he said he did find it is life, we'll lose it, but he loses his life, we'll find it. And so in order to give our life to Christ, and we've got to completely, power talk about down daily, we've got to die to the flesh. And we got to, in order to do that, the Spirit has got to overcome the flesh. And the Bible said in Galatians 516, the Spirit is one against the flesh and the flesh is one against the Spirit in our contrary to one another.
And so it's always a battle, it's always a fight. Well, who wins, what do you feed the most? And so we've absolutely got to give God our whole lives and you know, I tell people praise the Lord. If you spend, people come to me all the time said, I'm just really trying to, I'm seeking God, I'm trying to get closer to the Lord.
Well, how much time has it been in your Bible? Well, you know, I'll read one of those daily breads, you know, maybe a scripture or so. Well, how much time has it been in television? You know, you can't get closer to God, it's been in four to five hours in television in about two minutes, you know, in your daily bread.
It's, you know, your spirit, you've got to, in the flesh, we feed our flesh, you know, two or three times a day, food, breakfast, breakfast, dinner, lunch, whatever it might be. But you know, anything that you starve will die. And that's what we got to start doing, we got to start starving to flesh. And we got to start fingering spirit.
And then once we do that, the Bible says, if you're biting him, he will bite in you and you'll walk as he walks. Then you will feel the urgency to go out and let people know that Jesus is coming and people need to get their house in order. You know, preachers need to start preaching the truth. The Bible says, you know, you should know the truth and the truth will make you free.
And you know, a lot of them do, they preach praise God, Jesus says, and Jesus loves and he does. But you know, but just, you know, you look at Psalms 107, I'm sorry, 711, it says Jesus is coming, he's talking about Jesus coming and he's angry at the weak every day. You know, people don't wanna hear that, but literally in Ephesians chapter five or six, for the wrath of God will come up on the children and disobedience. Foshears 3, 23 or 325, he says, he that does run what received the wrong, for the wrong that he does.
John, it was at 931, God will not hear the private center. But those he does is will and worship people here. And does his will he will hear it. The eyes of the Lord is upon the righteous.
He's here to open to their prayers, but he turns his face to those who do evil. So if we're gonna serve Christ, you know, you can't serve two masters. We gotta give God our whole heart. You know, God is a jealous God.
He's not gonna let you serve two. He's not gonna let you give up, even 90% of your life and hang on to 10, just keep it. You know, God wants everything. When Jesus carried the cross up Calvary, he went all the way, he didn't stop halfway away.
You know, it got hard. But the Bible said those who endured to the end shall be saved. Well, he tells us that the greatest commitment is to loving with all of our heart or mind or soul and our strength. So that's going all the way.
And that's given all, and I wanna read these two scriptures right here. It's equal 31 and 32 or 18, 31 and 32. It says cast away from you, all your transgressions, whereby you have transgressed and make you a new heart and a new spirit. And for why you will die, oh, house of Israel, for I have no pleasure in the death of him, that doth said the Lord, therefore turn yourselves in that you may live.
So God don't have pleasure in his children dying, you know? And see, but he gives us that opportunity. You know, it's a free gift of salvation that we can receive Christ. And if we reject it, that's our own ignorance, you know?
And you know, there's hell. I mean, that's a real place that at the end of life that, you know, of this physical death that will spend eternity either in heaven or in hell. You know, a lot of, one thing that Dev was got out there, a lot of people, you know, they don't want to preach, they don't want to offend nobody, you know, it built a kingdom of God, you know, you know, the truth hurts. I mean, so it's, it will hurt, but you should know the truth and the truth will make you free.
And that's what it's designed to do. And I heard a preacher say, one time it's not my job to preach to you about your sins, well, it is. I mean, that's what preachers do. Preachers is called a preach.
They're, you know, they're not supposed to be massage therapists. You know, people will pay money to feel good. And that's what's going on all over the world. You know, people's talking about prosperity preaching and preaching, prosperity preaching.
Well, from my understanding, you can't take anything with you when you go away, man. The Bible said, boy, the prophet man, again, the whole world lives just so in hell. Right now in the last hours, we need to preach on commandments. We need to preach on repentance.
We need to preach on holiness. The Bible said, Matthew 548 to be perfect, which your Father in heaven is perfect. He says in the verse of Peter, 1 16 to be holy for him, holy. We need to let people know and people need to get out there lazy boys and get up.
And once you know the truth and God has revealed the truth to you, then you need to go out and preach. I mean, pray, we're all called to be witnesses. We're all called to be servants to the Lord. And so I thank God for what God is doing at God's place.
It's not my ministry, it's God's ministry, but God's got crews going out before service on the Sabbath on Saturday and running out. And we got two or three buses going on and fighting people in and going to the least of thee. That's another thing that we're going to be judged for. The Bible tells you in the book of Matthew, in chapter 25, it started verse 43, he's talking about, hey, what you've done to the least of thee you've done in me.
I was hungry, you didn't feed me. I was thirsty, you didn't give me a drink. I was in prison, you didn't come and visit me. I was naked, you didn't clove me.
And the Bible talks about Jesus said, I'm gonna separate my sheep from my goat. And the goat is the ones that's not doing what God has called us to do. God's hard for the sick, the needy, the homeless is phenomenal. I mean, he's giving these guys favor and he wants us to go out.
The Bible said it's easy for a camel to walk through a Bible and eat a rich man in here at the King of God, yet he hung out with a poor. And so, in guys, I'm telling you God is really, he's really using this ministry that he's got, allow us to be a part of. We've got a couple of houses and once these people get saved, this is another thing. I believe in every church or to have a discipleship house.
Once people comes in and they might be coming from prison or on the streets and homeless, they get saved, we need to be able to give them opportunity to come in and get out of the wilderness. These people can't make it on their own, their babies. And we're leaving them out there in the wilderness to be destroyed by all the demons and the demonic spirits. And so, there's churches out there with millions of dollars.
Don't know what to do with it. And praise God, we're praying that God will bless us, that we can house more people, that God can bless us with more leadership, that literally there's people coming, one poor guy coming, a wheelchair just lost his leg for some reason, he's not, wasn't allowed to go into the mission. The guy's not only kind of drugs or anything like that, sleeping outside in a wheelchair with just lost his legs, seeing him trying to crawl up in the truck, trying to use a leg that he don't have. I mean, listen, if people would get out of the box and see what's happening out here in their world, people's going to hate he and all over the world to preach to the gospel, we'll praise God, we're stumbling over the homeless and the drug addicts, here at Knoxville just to get to the airport.
We need to clean up our own backyard, amen? We need to come together and unity. If there's something I could do to help you, praise the Lord, you know with whatever you got going on. If we would work together, serve together, come together and unity like God has called us to do, I had a pastor call me one time, said I got a homeless man on my front porch, he said I know you're anointed to help him.
I said I'm on my way, praise the Lord, I'll be glad to come and do what the Lord will allow me to do. And I said can you sponsor this man? We don't take up offering at the church. We don't have any state funding, we do have a box and a guy does he provides, but there's what, but anyways, I ask him, I say can you sponsor this man, maybe $100 a month or something?
He said no, we just paid our parking lot. And you know it broke my heart and I know that's not God. That's not what God does. He don't just come and get this person and you take care of them.
There's a lot of people that's out there feeding the homeless underneath the bridges. My hats off to you, praise the Lord, thank God for the work that you're doing. But you know the little small churches and stuff. But listen, God needs help, he needs help building this kingdom.
I believe the next disciples is out there in the streets. You know, might be one with a needle in his arm today, but you know just like Saul, when Jesus was calling the disciples, he didn't run up and ask the priest that never looked for somebody, never drunk no alcohol or never said a curse word. He looked for people that's been through things, solid, was killing Christians. And Peter was cutting people's ears off and cursing them.
And so, you know, I thank God, Shannon and I both, we've been in the streets, we've been homeless, we know what we've been drug addicts. And so that's why God, we know what it's like to be out there and everybody's showing your way. And most people showing your way and think, well, they all just get a job, they all do this. Don't realize that, you know, this is not physical, this is a spiritual battle, this spirit is demonic.
You know, you tell people, once you get off drugs, once you quit eating, and they mean, it's about the same thing. You can't do this, this spirit, I used to lay in bed and cry, I said, God, why am I on drugs, why am I doing this, why I keep doing this and cry. I don't want to do this no more. And then, an hour later, I'm driving across the table and I was able to get another one.
Because we don't wrestle against place and blood, we're fighting against spiritualities, the powers of darkness in this world, spiritual weakness in high places. But God has put people in God's place, it's been through that, and we know what it's like. So we want to go back out to where we come from and bring people to power the Holy Spirit. And so, please pray for us, we need to one people, we need to start caring more about our friends and we do friendships, we're not here to build a, it's not a competition.
The Bible says open rebuke is better than secret love. It's telling your friend the truth. Amen. The Bible says when you take the name of the Lord Jesus Christ apart from all in equity, you know, I've been in churches and they'll tell, hey, say this part after me, now you're saved.
And the word says that you must be drawn by the Spirit. You can't just tell the men raised us and he saved. That's in John 644, that if the Spirit not draw you, then you can't come to the Father. We need to start explaining people that now that they have to surrender, reason this is not preached because nobody's excited about dying.
And that's why the Bible says straight as a gate and narrows away. I mean, you gotta die to live for God and we need to want people, that blood is gonna be required on your hands. These feel good messages, amen. Praise God, praise God, you got a thousand people in your church and you're building church is all over, but if you're not telling people the truth, how many of them's gonna make it?
How many of them, you know, the Bible said, my people's just going from Michael knowledge. You know, praise God, it's our responsibility to give the be seeking the Lord to get the knowledge from the Holy Spirit that we can give these folks. Amen. You know, praise the Lord.
I've got Jesus, Lord's God, Jesus written all over my truck, repent, repent, repent. The kingdom of God is a hand. Man comes in one time and he said, that's something you don't hear in churches no more. So we're talking about repent.
That's a shame guys, we need to repent daily. We need to be in sick with God. If we do something, praise God out of God's will. Remember the Bible says not everyone that says Lord Lord.
So I'm here to keep my God just those who don't know the Father. It's his will for us to warn people, let them know the truth, let them know about your transgressions, teach them how to walk with God. We need to start taking these people in. Pray for this ministry.
Praise God, this is God's ministry. Just pray, see what God would have you to do. We're looking for leaders. We're looking for servants, people that love the Lord.
Amen. I believe God has built up an army. Amen. Praise God that what most people call misfits and turn the city upside down.
