Praise the Lord, welcome to God's Place Party for Jesus' Ministry. It's always an honor to be here before the Lord and me and my beautiful wife, just sharing the Gospel with what God has done in her lives. He's got us such a good God and there's nothing he can't do. I thank God for God for his while we were just sinners.
A lot of people, there's a lot of generation curses that's been passed on throughout the world. I came from a family of murderers and drug addicts and had a lot of curses that passed on to me. Early age, mom and dad got divorced and had an angry spirit and started fighting. The devil, the Bible tells you, if we were biting God and he will be biting God, he will be biting us and walk as he walks.
But before we know the Lord, the devil, when we're biting him, he also manifests as you know. That's why we all need Jesus, Jesus is the way to life and the truth and when we come to Father but by him. Just the way that he's changed our lives. I don't like talking about things that I used to do.
Praise the Lord, I've been addicted about everything in the world you can think of. Oxygen's crack cocaine, I was a needle junkier crack. Like I said, I really don't like talking about that. The fact that God, he's such an awesome God.
There's one thing in our life that God can't deliver us from. The Bible says in 2 Peter 2, 9 that God knows how to deliver. The God live from temptation and reserve the unjust to the dead judgment. To be punished, I'm going to go ahead and let Shannon tell you what God has done in her life and how he's delivered her and how long?
Yes, I think the Lord for his mercy, he did have mercy upon me and upon you he's got mercy. But I guess growing up and my addiction that I had developed or produced through being alienated from God and having a relationship with God, I just never really had nobody to reach out to me and reaching hands and saying, hey, I'll help you come out of this. Because it was a way of life for me because that's what I see my parents do. My whole family had been generation curses passed on and on and on.
So it was the easy way out that when I did come across suffering and tribulation, that's what I went to. But I just never had no hand out there saying, hey, I'm here to help. And that's what brought me to God was it was a love of God that led me to repentance. But God used a willing vessel to reach out.
But see, something had already had my mind changed that this isn't what I want no more. I want something different. This is nothing but death. I want to have a life.
I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. That's where you've got to be. You've got to be broken. That's how most of us come to God is being broken.
If you're not broken, God's going to break you because his word, he tells you. In this world, you will have tribulation. But to me, you'll have peace but be a good cheer. I've overcome the world.
He tells us there would have tribulation. Your brokenness might not come through addiction or depression or feeling unloved or rejected or abandoned. But that's where my mind come from. I was in a pit of despair like Joseph.
I was over that in that dark hole that I was in. They had scriptures whenever he pulled in where I was. They were scriptures on the truck. That's what drew me to the truck.
It was one that says, Jesus is the way. I had already had a place of brokenness and I was ready to surrender whatever I needed to. Anything would work better than what I was doing. That's what led me to repentance.
Was the love of God. I got that fellowship and that relationship. I knew I was forgiven. That's everything.
I know that you're forgiven. He also, that Jesus took the penalty upon the cross. He left us his power for us. Even though we're forgiven for all the bad things we've done, that we continue to live in not condemnation and not guilt and not shame that we can be free in Christ Jesus.
That we can live at liberty in Christ Jesus. He says, where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty. So once you're born again and you give yourself the God and you're subject to God, he says you're bought with a price. You realize that you're forgiven and loved by a loving Father.
That he's been so patient and long suffering towards you. But he's not willing for any of us to perish. But all that come to repentance. That's what he wants from all of us is repentance.
I've repented from my heart and I turned away from my sin. I asked God to change me, to transform me. The Bible tells us that the Holy Spirit would regenerate us. He gives us love.
It regenerates our hearts that we're no longer born of the incorruptible seed, the corruptible seed but the incorruptible. We're born again by the word of God that abotteth and liveeth forever. But even the woman at the well, when Jesus comes to her, he can give you the cup of the living water because that's the only thing that can give us love. He tells us to drink on this water and you shall never thirst.
The woman at the well, Jesus had already knew everything about her. He had a divine appointment to meet her at the well and he knew that she knew she heard about Jesus but she had never encountered Jesus. Once she encountered Jesus, Jesus says, drink on this water. You'll never thirst again because she knew that that was Jesus and she left everything and she went and preached and she went and testified of Jesus.
That's what we've got to do. We've got to drink on the living water. He can offer it to us but he's not going to make you drink the living water. It's the only living water.
The Bible tells us that out of our belly will flow rivers of living water. We've got to drink on the living water to have rivers of living water. If you're not constantly drinking, the water's not moving so it gets stagnated and you're not going to produce. We've got to continue to drink on the Word of God.
It's on the Spirit. The Bible tells us in John 63, he says, for the flesh, it's nothing. He says, but the Spirit, it gives the Spirit in my words or laugh. This is his Spirit is drinking on the Word of God.
Once we quench and our thirst is what he does. He quenches our thirst for him and we add up our belly will flow rivers of living water for someone else to drink on. Also we share the living water with others but God's not going to make you drink from that cup. We've got to offer ourselves a living sacrifice to God.
He tells us, obviously to your brother, by the mercies of God that you present yourself a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable which is your reasonable service. That's what it's only acceptable and holy to God that we give ourselves to God because our righteousness is filthy and drags. We are in need of a Savior. We are in need of repentance.
The Bible tells us what he begins in you. He will perform it to the day of Jesus Christ. You can't never leave that or forsake that or the wages of sin is death and the gift of God is eternal off. That death is spiritual death.
You can lose your salvation. You can lose your salvation. He tells us that in 1 Timothy 6, 5, the good, 5 of faith, hold on to eternal off that you have professed this before many witnesses of your faith. Remember what he begins.
It's ordained for him to perform it in you to the day of Christ. Only those who endure to the end shall be saved. If we're not abiding with God, that means we're not drinking on the living water and he's not abiding in you. He's not abiding in us.
If we're not abiding in him. He tells us that we'll walk as he walks. Jesus walks spiritually. He walked with power and anointing of God.
We have that same power that raised Jesus from the grave. It's available to us and it can live in us. But for it to live in us, we've got to put it in us. We receive Christ through faith.
He says, we're saved by grace and through faith. It's not of our own works. Once after we receive that water, we've got to continually walk with God. He tells us that we're supposed to go and sow seed.
We've got to be seed-sowers. We've got a fruit and a holiness. He tells us that we're supposed to bring forth is fruit and a holiness and eternal life. That fruit only comes through the Spirit of God abiding in you.
But it's prayer. It's reading. It's fasting. It's going out preaching the gospel.
The Bible says, well, to them that preaching off the gospel. Just a note of good and not. The Bible says it's sin. We've got to know how to rightly divide the word of truth.
He tells us that that's why we all have to study ourselves, to show ourselves to prove into God a word that not to be ashamed but rightly divided the word of truth. We've got to study. We've got to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. We're safe through faith.
We've got to continue to walk in faith. But our works are evidence over faith. It shows that we're saved because we've got to walk in the Spirit, not just live in the Spirit. Amen.
You know, a lot of people think, well, okay, this message is not for me. These guys are drug addicts and Shannon lived underneath the bridge eight years ago. I addicted to heroin myself. I've been pronounced dead.
I'm in 623 to wage and sing his death. But you know, literally God's, I mean, we all need God. And he was talking about how he appeared to you through the Word of God. You know, just the name of Jesus, there's so much power in that name.
And it brought me to Titus 2.11. It says, for the grace of God, bring the salvation, had appeared to all men. And you know, that grace, what's it for, it's to teach us to not end Godliness in world and lust that we should live soberly, righteously, and Godly in this present world. Looking for that blessed hope, the glory's appearing over great God and savory Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us that he might redeem us from all iniquity, purify unto himself particular people, zealous of good works.
So, you know, without God, every one of us are righteous as filthy as rags. I mean, even Jesus himself, he said, wow, that'll call us to be good. He said, there's nothing good but one, and that's God. So regardless, maybe you're out there and you're never done drugs, you're never done alcohol, whatever.
But listen, we're all born in the sinful nature of the world. Amen. It's just the Bible said that carnomontage is to be carnomontage is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. And so, you know, we all need to save you.
We all need Jesus. We all need to be born again. There's people sitting in church that's been there for 30, 40 years. It's truly not been born again.
And how do you know if you've been born again? Well, the Bible said he that is righteous. He that lives righteous is righteous. Amen.
And you cannot continue to sin. You cannot continue. If you've been born again, you cannot continue to sin. If you're continuing to live sinful life and it's a conviction of God is not just bothering you and convicting you and making you feel bad and you need to examine yourself.
Amen. Because that's what that Holy Spirit is for. And that's what we need to be preaching. We need to be preaching repentance and conviction.
And conviction is a gift from the Holy Spirit. Thank God for conviction. Nobody gets saved without conviction. Amen.
And we got so many folks out here that's preaching to try to keep from offending anybody. So the Bible tells you in the book of Titus, he says, hey, just loaning, God put us in the trust with the gospel that we not be pleasing to men, but pleasing to God. Paul said, if I seek you, please me, I should not be a servant Christ. And the reason God wants us to know the truth is because the truth, you should know the truth and the truth shall make you free.
But no matter where you're at, whether you're stone cold, drug addict, living in an alley with a syringe in your pocket or whether you've been sitting in church or whole life and been a gospel scene and there's no greater sin. It's all equal in God's eyes. And the Bible says in Matthew 5, 8, the only prayer in oral seagod. And God is called us in holiness and pureness.
And he tells you to be perfect, which is Father in Heaven is perfect. Matthew 5, 48, once we give our lives to Christ, we come as babies. And if you not come to Christ as a child, you shall not inherit a kingdom of God. Because if you come to Christ and think you don't know what he can't use you, he has no need for you.
We got to go as a child. And that's what I did. I talked about the last segment. I got saved over and over and over again.
Then finally I said, okay, God, I'm done. I said, if I've never been saved, save me today. I surrender. I give you my whole life.
I don't want to hang on to nothing. I don't know how to do nothing. I don't know how to read. He says, thank God.
But if you will help me, I'll follow you for the rest of the days of my life. And that's what it's about. It's about Father and God. It's about grabbing hold of God's hand.
It's not even a day-by-day walk. It's a second-by-second. Every second of your life, you have you and what you give your life to Christ, then you blow them to Him. You're not your own no more.
And that's why, people are not teaching in preaching. That once you give your life to Christ, then you can't go back and sleep with your girlfriend or your boyfriend. You can't go to the bars and hang out. First of all, if you really receive Christ, you know, praise God or something in you, that's changed already.
There's a Holy Spirit that's moved in. those things no more. And they will forget at 18 years old, you know, when I went to the altar and gave my life to Christ, the first time I had this worldly tag that was on my van that I'd been driving around with it for years, thanking it was cool, but when I gave my life to Christ and the Holy Spirit moved in, I walked outside. It's the first thing I saw that old license plate on front of my van, and it made me sick.
I said, I cannot believe I've had it on my van. And so that's what God does. He's a Holy Spirit and He will move in you. And that's why, you know, it's, you know, it's how the music was for me.
It's like I saved, I couldn't, you know, listen to all the the custom and things I listened to before. Because the Lord hates that. And he tells us to send everybody hates in. And he tells you, he said at the table with the Lord at the table at the same time.
And so, but what happens is we grieve the Spirit. When we ask God to save us, we're not obedient. Most people's not. You know, I didn't realize I wasn't taught that I had now.
You know, my life went across. And now I've got to build my relationship with Him. Every day I've got to read. I've got to pray.
I've got to seek God. I've got to put Him first. And you know, people said, well, that would be boring. That would be horrible.
No, it's the most greatest thing in the world. You know, I want to thank God, you know, I just celebrated 15 years of being with Christ. And it's been the most amazing. I cannot remember having a bad day in 15 years.
How I went through trials and tribulations. Yeah, we go through them. It rings on the just and unjust. You know, but here's the key to it.
When you start Christ, that Christ will go through it with you. Amen. And He will be with you. He will never leave you.
He will never forsake you. Amen. He will be your strength. Amen.
He's your everything. And the flippings for seven, he will give you pieces or passes all understanding. He will send you a comforter. And that comforter is the Holy Spirit.
And so knowing that God is with you, no matter no weapon forms or prosper against you, that you are more than a conqueror that loves you. And so, you know, you know, and you look around and you see people claiming to be Christians and you don't see no joy. You don't see no fruit. Amen.
You see people, their heads down, their butts driving. They look like they're mad at the world. Well, the Bible said, many professors, they know me but in their works, they deny me. Well, you're actually denying Christ.
When you walk around, you know, we're supposed to be bearing fruit. And that's what Jesus said, if you'll buy to me, I'll buy the news. As I've, as I've, I've, I've bought it in the Father and Him and Me and you will produce fruit and much fruit. Amen.
And that's what we're here to do. We're supposed to be a lot into the world that glorifies God. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 6, 7, 6, 20, He said, you're bought with a price but glory if I mean your body and your spirit. And so, man, ever, especially in these hours, you know, we go out and people's got a mask on.
Everybody's living in fear and praise the Lord. They're fearing everything but what they're supposed to fear. And that's Jesus Christ. Amen.
The Bible says 365 times fear not. I'm not worried about the coronavirus. These things will praise God. Heaven and Earth will pass away with the Word of God will stand forever as long as, you know, the Bible says whatsoever.
We ask Him to pray, we shall receive it. I ask God to protect my family, my kids, church family, everybody around us from, from the coronavirus. I even asked Lord, don't even let us get a head coat. Guess what?
We hadn't even had a head coat. And then never shut down a service during this whole body grace of God because we ask. But He also says without faith is impossible. Please God.
I don't put my faith in a mask. People say, well, my ass won't cure Corona. My ass won't cure Corona. Amen.
Praise God God. God, God, He's what cures Corona. The Bible said, I sent my word to heal you and to save you from destruction. He said you'll go through fire and not be burnt.
You'll go through floods and not in the price, God, not in the dream. There's not any form. Look at Shadd right in me, Shadda, Benigo. You know, that's a perfect example of three Hebrew men that love the Lord children that gave their life to Christ.
And they went wavering. The king said, if you just bow down to us, bow down to this flute or whatever it is, this music that we're going to produce, you'll be okay. And he said, we've got one God that we're going to bow down to. And that's what we need.
We need to get to mindset. We're going to bow down to one God. And that's our Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior, amen, that died on the cross for each and every one of us. God's in His only begotten son.
He's so loved the world. He said, you will have tribulations. He said, you will, not that you might, but you will. He said, but be of good cheer.
I've overcome the world. And this peace, the Bible said, without Jesus, without the Spirit of God, there's no peace. There'll be no peace to the wicked. So, 2 Chronicles 7 and 14 said, my people, which are called by my name, would humble themselves and seek my face and pray and turn from your wicked ways.
Then God will hear from heaven, forgive your sins and heal your lands. And no matter, like I said, no matter where you're at today, no matter how bad your addiction is, you know, I never will forget. And when I went to jail, when I went to jail, I gave my life to cross. I said, God, I'm done.
I'm tired of living like this. I mean, I'm about to die. I realized that I was on, I mean, literally, I was just days. I mean, I knew that the devil was about to take my life.
I called up on the Lord. If I was to Hooshever, call up on me, Lord, which I'll be saved. I repeated for my sins and I told him, deliver me from these addictions and I woke up the next morning in jail, no wif drivers, no nothing. I'm like, God, why am I not sick?
He said, you asked me to help you, didn't you? He said to big God, I asked him, God, there's nothing he can't do. But I remember going to the clinic, medical, and this big mean-looking nurse, you looked at me and I was ashamed of the track marks and my stuff and I was telling that lady, I gave my life to Christ. I'm not going to do that no more.
I'm done. That's the last time that I'll ever do drugs again. She looked at me and was sitting all over her face and she said, you know what, once you're a junkie, you'll always be a junkie. And you know what, I reviewed that.
The Bible said, submit yourself to the Lord, resist the devil, and he must flee. So God is getting me clean by the grace of God for 15 years now. And God wants you, no matter what's going on in your life, there's a lot of people, you don't have to be drugs, you don't have to be alcohol. There's a lot of people with spirit, unforgiveness.
A lot of people just bitterness, amen. And again, you know, we're all called to bring in forth fruit. Amen. The Bible said to harvest with plenty of other flavors of you, he said, if the tree bear if not fruit, then it's who down and cast into fire.
He said, hey, he said, without me, you can do nothing. Amen. I'm the vine and you're the branch without me, you can do nothing. We all need to be abiding in God.
His spirit can move in us that he can use us as willing vessels, as temples of God, that he can go out and work through us. And you know, once we give our life to Christ, if you truly got Jesus in your heart, then you'll have compassion for people. You'll have love for people. You'll want to see people come to Christ.
You'll want to see lives change. You'll want to see people saved. You'll want to see people that come out of addictions and people that lost their kids and people that's homeless. You'll want to see God raise them up and give back everything that's taken from them.
You know, the Bible said in Genesis 50-20, everything that God has been on in your life, God will turn it into good. You know, we thank God for God's place and how God's changing people's lives and pulling people off the streets and making teachers out of them disciples. And, you know, the Lord allows us to go by the mission and down the, you know, through the streets and pick up the homeless every service. You know, we go by there and the Bible says what you've done to the least, you've done it to me and, you know, by the grace of God, like I said, the Lord has never shut down the service.
We sing people saved, people healed, people delivered. And, you know, we need prayer for the ministry. You know, we're servants and we're looking for people, God is looking for people that sold out that's willing to give up and sacrifice their life. The Bible said he didn't find his life will lose it, but he loses life for my name's sake, so find it.
And so that's what it says. We got to doubt ourselves. You know, Philippians 1-21 to live as Christ and to us gain. Once you, you know, once you give up your life, you'll really have life.
And that's, you know, even before I met my wife, I told the Lord, I'd spend the rest of my life alone. I was just content with just being with him and being a servant to him. And, you know, God honored that. I was willing to be alone without a wife, rest of my life in any place to hurt my life.
And now we got beautiful children and we got three more kids that's moved in with us. And so we just, Jesus come to give you life and life more abundantly, you know. But we want everybody to have a joy of the Lord. And, you know, it's like you got this great, you got this Jesus, you know, the Lord is in us.
It's so wonderful that you want to share it with everybody and you want everybody to feel what you feel. I tell people all the time, if I could just loan you what I've got, I wouldn't going to give it to you alone because I wouldn't want to do without it. And, you know, it's a joy that happens in peace. It's a, you know what?
The happiness, you know, it comes, the Bible talks about blessed is the man that, you know, is merciful, that he should obtain mercy. If you look it up and I think the Greek coordinates, it talks about, you know, blessed. That word, one of the words is happiness is being blessed. And, you know, that's so true.
You know, what you do to others, you know, it comes back. You know, if you sow sparingly, you'll reap sparingly, you know, if you sow bountfully, you'll reap bountfully. That means if you sow little, you'll reap little. But what you do to others, that's the whole fulfillment of the law.
And it'll make you feel happy. That's what will make you happy is blessed in others. Amen. And we're going to have a church, people's a church, holy spirit don't manifest in the block of the wall.
But we want to have a place that's open 24 hours, seven days a week. You know, there's people, churches, you know, praise the Lord. There's people hurting it, you know, after eight, 30 at night, nine o'clock at night. You know, and we've had an opportunity.
We've had that before that people could come in, all hours at night. It was hungry to be fed. We actually built a little shower at the church and people need to shower and wash the clothes where we had to wash the dryer. But, you know, in order to do so, it just takes unity.
It takes people working together. So we do ask you to pray for the ministry. This is not our ministry. This is God's ministry that we're just blessed to be a part of.
But our hearts and desires to see people saved. I mean, to see people's lives changed, you know, after God pulled us out of darkness and the way that he did and gave us life and put our feet up on us all at rock. You know, you can hit rock bottom and still have something to build up on because Jesus is rock. And so a lot of times that's what he has to do.
He has to break us down. You know, when you ask God to save you, he has to break you from sin. And so a lot of times that's what it takes. Amen.
So, you know, we just want you to be encouraged that no matter what you're going through, the Bible said that he comes to storms and he even makes the waves to the ocean. He sent his word to heal you and saved it from destruction. We would love to have you at God's Place Church. We have service every Thursday, not at seven o'clock, starting not at six o'clock.
The numbers on the screen would be happy to come pick you guys up as long as the praise Lord that it's local. And so pray for the ministry. We want to pray for you guys and just listen. Let's all come together.
Let's all pray for one another. Amen. And so the numbers on the screen. And so God bless you all.
Thank you for tuning in with us. And so hope to see y'all next time. Remember that who should I ever call upon the name of the Lord? Shall I be saved?
No matter where you're at, no matter what you've done. God is a loving, merciful, gracious God. He said, if you confess your sins, He is faithful and just forgiving you and clean you from all and righteous. Your sins will be cast out as far as the east is from the west.
Give your life to cross today. God bless you and good night. Remember the Bible says in the book of John chapter three verse three that you must be born again. And being born again means that you ask God to come in your heart and save you from your sins.
The Bible says, if you confess your sins, He is faithful and just forgive you and clean you from all and righteousness. And now it means your life don't blow to you no more. It belongs to Him. And the Bible says, trust God be whole heart and not only know your own understanding.
Know the team in all ways and he shall eat and get your past. It's time to get a relationship with God by reading and praying, seeking God be whole heart, each and every day of your life. The Bible says the number one greatest commandment is to love God with your whole heart, your mind, your soul and your strength. Thank you for tuning in.
