God's Wisdom in the Christmas Message: Enjoy the Season But Get the Message | Terence Sikoryak

Christmas is not just a sentimental tradition, but a moment of divine wisdom calling us to discern God’s greater redemptive plan. Rooted in John 3:16, it reveals the true meaning of Christmas through four realities: humanity’s danger of perishing, God’s loving design to rescue us through Christ, our duty to respond in faith and surrender, and our destiny of eternal life that begins now. Drawing from Proverbs, it contrasts superficial celebration with wise discernment, urging listeners not to miss what God is revealing in the season. Christmas is shown as the fulfillment of God’s long-planned compassion—new life formed through the womb—calling each person to respond personally to the gospel. Ultimately, the message invites us to enjoy Christmas fully, but to do so with wisdom that leads to life, transformation, and eternity with God.
