Walk in God's Wisdom: Three Great Truths to Live Wisely Pt 2 | Proverbs 16 10-24 | Terence Sikoryak

Proverbs 16 reminds us that wisdom isn’t simply something we know—it is revealed in the choices we make every day. We choose justice by using our influence wisely, treating people with the same honest standard, and building the character necessary to carry whatever God entrusts to us. We choose humility by pursuing wisdom over wealth, staying on the right road, and remaining willing to say, “I could be wrong—what am I missing?” And we choose our words carefully, because what comes out of our mouths reveals what is happening in our hearts, and our words always leave something behind. In the time remaining, I want to use my influence wisely, walk the right road, stay humble—and leave people stronger because I was here. The War in Heaven | Revelation 12:7–12 [#35] | Matthew Maher

War breaks out in heaven. Michael and his angels battle the Dragon, Satan is cast down to the earth, and heaven erupts in praise. But what exactly is happening—and if Satan was defeated at the cross, why does he still have access to accuse God's people? In Revelation 12:7–12, Pastor Matthew Maher traces Satan's role as the deceiver, slanderer, and accuser, explains why his expulsion from heaven marks a major turning point in the Tribulation, and shows how God's people overcome—not through their own strength, but “by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.” The war is real, but the outcome is not in question. The cross settled Satan's fate. Revelation shows his judgment being carried out. The Wound from Within | Matthew 5:10 | The Sermon On The Mount | Nick Johnson | Landmark Church

Some of the deepest wounds a believer feels do not come from the outside world. They come from inside the family of faith. In this closing message on the Beatitudes, we follow the thread of betrayal from Cain, to Peter in the courtyard, to Paul under attack from a church he helped build, and we ask how a Christian survives that kind of hurt without growing bitter or silent. Jesus does not promise us a life without it. He promises something better: that the kingdom of heaven already belongs to those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake. Come and be reminded that the wound does not get the last word. Be sure to subscribe to the Landmark Church YouTube Channel and wherever you access podcasts to stay updated on all upcoming sermons. The War Behind the World: The Dragon, Woman, and Child | Revelation 12:1-6 [#34] | Matthew Maher

What if the events we see unfolding on earth are only part of the story? Revelation 12 pulls back the curtain and gives us "heaven’s perspective on history," revealing an ancient spiritual war that stretches from Genesis to the Great Tribulation. Behind the kingdoms, conflict, and chaos stands the dragon—Satan—waging war against the woman, Israel, and her promised Seed, Jesus Christ. Yet every attempt of the enemy ultimately serves the sovereign purposes of God. Satan could not stop Christ at His birth, and through His death came the very victory Satan sought to prevent. In this message from Revelation 12:1–6, Pastor Matthew Maher traces the war behind the world—from the promise of the Seed, to the cross, to the throne, and finally to Israel’s flight into the wilderness for 1,260 days. The enemy moves through history, but God rules over history. Watch as we uncover the battle that shaped the world before time, the battle raging throughout time, and the battle that will climax at the end of time. Signs of the Times: The Aftermath of Charlie Kirk's Assassination (One Year Later) | Matthew Maher

Almost one year later, the question isn’t simply, “What happened?” The question is, “What is happening?” The assassination of Charlie Kirk didn’t create America’s crisis of truth—it exposed it. It exposed what people believe, what people celebrate, what people hate, and perhaps most concerning, how difficult it has become to determine what is actually true. In this Signs of the Times message, Matthew Maher examines the aftermath of Charlie Kirk’s assassination through the lens of Scripture—from the Devil’s playbook and a culture increasingly hostile toward truth, to the explosion of distrust, conspiracy, and confusion that followed. How should Christians respond when lies go viral, suspicion masquerades as discernment, and truth-tellers become targets? The Church doesn’t echo culture or conspiracy—it bears witness to Christ. BOLD IN TRUTH. BOWED IN REPENTANCE. BOUND IN FAITH. “For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth.” — John 18:37 Be sure to subscribe to the Landmark Church YouTube Channel and wherever you access podcasts to stay updated on all upcoming sermons. The Last Kingdom Is Coming (The Seventh Trumpet) | Revelation 11:15-19 [#33] | Matthew Maher

The seventh trumpet sounds—and heaven erupts with an announcement that all of Scripture has been moving toward: “The kingdom of this world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” In Revelation 11:15–19, heaven announces the coming reign of Jesus Christ with such certainty that the future is celebrated as though it has already happened. What Psalm 2 promised, what Daniel 2 foresaw, and what Daniel 7 revealed now converge in one triumphant proclamation: the King is coming, and His Kingdom will have no end. In this message, we explore the seventh trumpet, the worship of the twenty-four elders, the rage of the nations, coming judgment and reward, and the opening of God's heavenly temple. The ark of the covenant reminds us that through every judgment and every upheaval, God has not forgotten His promises. The kingdoms of men will not last forever. The last Kingdom is coming—and the King will reign forever. Be sure to subscribe to the Landmark Church YouTube Channel and wherever you access podcasts to stay updated on all upcoming sermons. Trust God's Sovereignty | Proverbs 16:1-9 | Terence Sikoryak | Landmark Church

Proverbs 16 reminds us that wise living begins by trusting God's sovereignty while embracing our own responsibility. We are called to prepare diligently, examine our motives honestly, and cultivate the character of Christ, knowing that God directs the outcome even when life doesn't unfold according to our plans. True success is not measured by accomplishments or possessions, but by becoming the kind of person who pleases God and leaves behind a legacy of faithfulness. In the time remaining, our calling is simple: plan wisely, live humbly, and trust God with every step. Psalm 44: Broken, But Not Apart | Matthew Maher | Landmark Church

Psalm 44 wrestles with one of the hardest realities of faith: What do you do when you know God has been faithful, but you can’t understand what He is doing now? The psalmist remembers past victories, experiences present suffering, and ultimately refuses to let pain separate him from God. Sometimes suffering is not punishment—it is the battle scar of remaining faithful in a world at war with God. Better to be broken in part by God than broken apart from God. Pure Within, Peace Without | Matthew 5:8-9 | Nick Johnson

In this message on Matthew 5:8–9, we explore the final movement of the Beatitudes: the pure in heart and the peacemakers, along with the two staggering promises Jesus attaches to them—seeing God and being called sons of God. What does it mean to have a "pure" heart, and how can sinful people possess one? We trace how God gives us a new heart, why we still battle sin even after receiving it, and what genuine peacemaking looks like when it refuses to settle for surface-level quiet. The message closes with a searching question for every listener: not whether you have a father, but which one you resemble right now. Come and see how the face you will one day behold and the name you will one day bear are already being shaped by the Master you serve today. The Two Witnesses of the Tribulation | Revelation 11:3-14 [#32] | Matthew Maher | Landmark Church

Who are the Two Witnesses of Revelation 11, and why does God send them during the darkest days in human history? In this message, we examine one of the Bible's most fascinating prophetic passages—Revelation 11:3–14. While many debates surround the identity of the Two Witnesses, the greater question is why God sends them. Their ministry reminds us that even in the midst of judgment, God continues to extend mercy, proclaim truth, and call people to repentance. We'll explore: • The identity and purpose of the Two Witnesses • The significance of the olive trees and lampstands from Zechariah 4 • The parallels between the Two Witnesses, Moses, and Elijah • Why God empowers them with miraculous signs • The rise of the Beast and Satan's counterfeit kingdom • Why the world celebrates their deaths • Their resurrection, ascension, and God's ultimate vindication • What this passage teaches us about God's sovereignty, mercy, and final judgment Above all, Revelation 11 reminds us that God never leaves Himself without a witness. Though the world may reject His truth, God's purposes cannot be stopped, His witnesses cannot be silenced before their work is finished, and His Word will always prevail. Signs of the Times: The Return of Noah | Genesis 6, Matthew 24 | Matthew Maher

Are we living in the days of Noah? When Jesus described the generation that would precede His return, He didn't point to Egypt, Babylon, or Rome. He pointed to Noah. In this message, we explore what made the days of Noah so unique—and why Jesus said they would resemble the world before His Second Coming. From corrupt hearts and cultural decay to God's patience, Noah's faith, and the Ark as a picture of Christ, this sermon is a call to readiness, not speculation. The headlines don't create the heart of a nation—they reveal it. And the heart always writes the headlines of a nation. Most importantly, this message asks the same question Noah's generation had to answer: Are you in the Ark? Today, that question becomes: Are you in Christ? "But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be." — Matthew 24:37 Be sure to subscribe to the Landmark Church YouTube Channel and wherever you access podcasts to stay updated on all upcoming sermons. The Tribulation Temple, the Timetable, and the Testimony | Revelation 11:1–3 [#31] | Matthew Maher

The Tribulation Temple, the Timetable, and the Testimony Revelation 11:1–3 As we continue our verse-by-verse study through Revelation, chapter 11 shifts our attention to three major prophetic realities: the rebuilding of the Tribulation Temple, God's prophetic timetable, and the ministry of the Two Witnesses. In this message, we examine why the temple must be understood literally, how Daniel's seventy weeks provide the prophetic framework for the Tribulation, and why the repeated references to 42 months, 1,260 days, and "time, times, and half a time" are essential to understanding God's unfolding plan. Most importantly, we discover that even in the darkest days of human history, God never leaves Himself without a witness. In this message: • Why Revelation is telescopic, not strictly chronological • The significance of measuring the Tribulation Temple • The role of Daniel's 70th Week • The Abomination of Desolation explained • The prophetic timetable of the Tribulation • Why God raises the Two Witnesses • God's faithfulness to preserve His purposes Key Truth: "God never leaves Himself without a witness." Marks of a Transformed Christian | Romans 12:9-21 | Aaron Capito

What does a transformed Christian actually look like? In Romans 12:9–21, the Apostle Paul shows us that the gospel doesn't just change where we're going—it changes how we're living. This message explores the marks of a life transformed by the mercy of God: genuine love, humility, grace toward others, and overcoming evil with good. This sermon challenges and encourages you to not only bear the name of Christ, but to reflect His character in your everyday life. When The Word Consumes You (The Mystery of God) | Revelation 10:1-11 [#30] | Matthew Maher

Revelation 10 pauses the trumpet judgments and pulls back the curtain on the unfolding mystery of God. From Genesis to Revelation, God's promises, covenants, redemption, the church, Israel, and the coming Kingdom are not disconnected stories—they are pieces of one divine plan moving toward fulfillment in Jesus Christ. John is then commanded to take the little book and eat it. It is sweet in his mouth but bitter in his stomach—a powerful picture of the prophetic Word of God. Scripture comforts us, confronts us, and sometimes costs us. The Word must get into us before it can faithfully come out of us. Don't just consume the Word. Let it consume you—and then carry it to the world. Mercy Received, Mercy Given: How God’s Mercy Creates Merciful People | Matthew 5:7 | Nick Johnson

In this message from Matthew 5:7, we consider how easily the constant mercies of God can become so familiar that we stop recognizing them. The holiness of God reveals the true weight of mercy, showing that sin must be answered either in the sinner or in a substitute. Jesus Christ is that perfect substitute—the merciful High Priest who bore the judgment His people deserved and secured mercy through the cross. Because believers have received mercy of such magnitude, they are called to extend mercy within the church and to a world still in need of the gospel. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy. Be sure to subscribe to the Landmark Church YouTube Channel and wherever you access podcasts to stay updated on all upcoming sermons. Proverbs 15 pt. 2 | The Path and The Harvest | Terence Sikoryak

Life doesn't change because we wish it would; it changes because we become different people. Proverbs 15 reminds us that every harvest begins long before the fruit appears—it begins in the condition of the heart, continues on the path of our daily choices, and eventually reveals itself in the life we build. Every conversation, every habit, every response to correction, and every decision is either moving us upward in wisdom or downward into regret. In the time remaining, don't chase more things; become a better person. When your character grows, your path changes, and when your path changes, your harvest inevitably follows. Psalm 43: When God Feels Far Away | Matthew Maher | Landmark Church

Have you ever felt like God was distant? Like your prayers were unanswered, your circumstances were overwhelming, or your soul was simply exhausted? Psalm 43 reminds us that faith is not the absence of difficult questions—it is bringing those questions to the right Person. In this message, we'll discover: Why the psalmist asks God to "plead his cause" against an ungodly culture. How God's light and truth provide direction when life feels confusing. Why David's greatest desire wasn't relief—but God Himself. How Jesus fulfills the altar and becomes our only hope. Why the most important sermon you'll ever hear may be the one you preach to your own soul. If you're walking through discouragement, spiritual dryness, or wondering where God is, this psalm will remind you that your feelings are not your final authority. God's truth is. Key Takeaways: • Ask Him your questions—but remember: He is the answer. • Don't ask God to merely change your conditions; ask Him to change your direction. • God isn't your emergency exit or your last resort—He is your exceeding joy. • When your soul is discouraged, preach God's promises to your heart. When Man Refuses To Answer To Heaven (Sixth Trumpet | Second Woe) | Revelation 9:13-21 | Matt Maher

The first woe revealed what happens when hell answers to heaven. The second woe reveals what happens when man refuses to answer to heaven. As the sixth trumpet sounds, four bound angels are released from the Euphrates, a massive demonic army is unleashed, and one-third of mankind is killed. Yet the greatest tragedy of Revelation 9 isn't the judgment itself—it is humanity's refusal to repent. Just as the first woe reminded us that even hell answers to heaven, the second woe reminds us that the greatest danger isn't God's unwillingness to save—it's man's unwillingness to repent. In this message, we explore: • The significance of the Sixth Trumpet and the Second Woe • The identity of the four bound angels • Why the Euphrates River has always been associated with God's judgment • The terrifying 200-million-man army • What the serpent imagery reveals about Satan's deception • Why idolatry is the root of every other sin • The difference between an evidence problem and a heart problem • Why only the Holy Spirit can bring true repentance Revelation 9 isn't ultimately about demons, horsemen, or supernatural warfare. It's about the condition of the human heart. Hell answers to heaven. The question is... Will we? Broken for Battle: Strength Under the Rein | Matthew 5:5-6 | Nick Johnson

This sermon continues through the Beatitudes by examining Jesus’ words, “Blessed are the meek” and “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness.” Using the image of a trained warhorse, it shows that biblical meekness is not weakness, but strength held under the control of God’s Spirit. The sermon then connects that controlled strength to a deep hunger for righteousness — both the longing to be made right with God and the longing to see the world made right under Christ. Ultimately, Jesus promises that this hunger will be satisfied in Him, as He fills His people with His righteousness now and will one day renew the whole earth in righteousness. When Hell Answers to Heaven (The Fifth Trumpet | First Woe) | | Revelation 9:1-12 | Matthew Maher

As the fifth trumpet sounds, Revelation moves into a new phase of judgment known as the first woe. A fallen star is given the key to the bottomless pit, smoke rises from the abyss, and a terrifying army of demonic locusts emerges to torment those who do not belong to God. These are not ordinary locusts. They have crowns like gold, faces like men, hair like women, teeth like lions, breastplates of iron, and tails like scorpions. Their king bears a chilling name: Abaddon in Hebrew and Apollyon in Greek—both meaning "Destroyer." Yet beneath the horror of this passage lies a powerful truth: hell does not operate independently of heaven. The fallen star is given a key. The locusts are given authority. Their torment is limited to five months. Even in judgment, God remains completely sovereign. In this message, we explore: The Fifth Trumpet Judgment (Revelation 9:1-12) The identity of the fallen star The meaning of the bottomless pit (abyss) The terrifying locust army Abaddon/Apollyon: the king called Destroyer Why these judgments are called "woes" God's sovereignty over hell and judgment The contrast between the kingdom of darkness and the kingdom of Christ Revelation 9 reminds us that every kingdom reflects its king. The kingdom of the Destroyer produces destruction. The kingdom of Christ produces life. The First Four Trumpets: Mother Nature Answers To Father God | Revelation 8:6-13 | Matthew Maher

The silence of heaven has ended. In Revelation 8, the prayers of the saints rise before God, and heaven responds with judgment. As the first four trumpets sound, the land, sea, waters, and heavens are struck one by one. Why are these judgments limited to one-third? What do they reveal about God's justice and mercy? And what happens when the very creation mankind worships becomes an instrument in the hand of its Creator? In this message, we explore the first four trumpet judgments and discover a powerful truth: Creation does not answer to man. Creation answers to God. Passage: Revelation 8:7-13 In This Message: • The first four trumpet judgments • Connections to the plagues of Exodus • Why judgment is limited to one-third • God's mercy in the midst of wrath • The danger of worshiping creation rather than the Creator • How believers can stand firm in a shaking world Key Truth: "The safest place in a shaking world is not confidence in creation, government, technology, wealth, or human ingenuity. Psalm 42: Preaching To A Downcast Soul | Matthew Maher | Landmark Church

Have you ever loved God and yet felt distant from Him? Psalm 42 is one of the most honest passages in all of Scripture. The psalmist thirsts for God, battles despair, wrestles with difficult questions, and yet refuses to let go of hope. In this message, we discover that faith and discouragement can occupy the same heart at the same time, and we learn how to preach truth to a downcast soul. Whether you're walking through grief, spiritual dryness, disappointment, or simply a season where God feels far away, Psalm 42 reminds us that our hope is not found in changing circumstances, but in an unchanging God. In this message: The difference between listening to yourself and preaching to yourself Why our tears can make terrible theologians What "deep calls unto deep" really means Trusting God's heart when you cannot trace His hand Finding hope in the midst of adversity Key Verse: "Why are you cast down, O my soul? Proverbs 15 The Heart, The Path, The Harvest | Terence Sikoryak | Landmark Church

Most people don't suddenly arrive at wisdom, peace, or ruin. We move toward them one decision at a time. In this message from Proverbs 15, we explore how the heart shapes our words, our path determines our direction, and our harvest reveals the life we have cultivated. Through the lens of the Kingdom of God, Jesus calls us beyond behavior modification into a transformed heart that brings life, peace, and wisdom to a broken world. When Heaven Stops To Listen (The Seventh Seal) | Revelation 8:1-5 | Landmark Church | Matthew Maher

What happens when Heaven falls silent? In Revelation 8, the Lamb opens the seventh seal, and for the first time in the book, the songs stop, the worship pauses, and Heaven grows silent. Why? What is so significant that even the hosts of Heaven stand in awe? In this message, we explore the profound silence of Revelation 8, the seven angels and seven trumpets, and the powerful connection between the prayers of the saints and the judgments of God. From the bowls of incense in Revelation 5 to the cry of the martyrs in Revelation 6, and finally to the fire cast upon the earth in Revelation 8, we discover that God never forgets the prayers of His people. Why is there silence in Heaven for thirty minutes? What do the seven trumpets represent? How are the prayers of the saints connected to God's unfolding plan? What can believers learn when God seems silent? One of the great lessons of Revelation 8 is this: Just because Heaven is silent doesn't mean Heaven is inactive. Sometimes we only see the dots. God sees the whole picture. Scripture: Revelation 8:1–5 Be sure to subscribe to the Landmark Church YouTube Channel and wherever you access podcasts to stay updated on all upcoming sermons. The Kingdom Is Already Yours | Matthew 5: 1-4 | Nick Johnson | Landmark Church

In this sermon, Jesus begins the Sermon on the Mount by declaring the blessed condition of those who belong to the kingdom of heaven. The Beatitudes are not presented as a checklist of behaviors to earn God’s favor, but as descriptions of the character produced in those whom grace has already claimed. Through the first two Beatitudes, Jesus shows that the poor in spirit recognize their complete dependence on God, while those who mourn grieve over their sin in the light of His holiness. Yet this mourning is not hopeless, because the same God who exposes our need also promises perfect and lasting comfort through Christ. From The Great Tribulation To The Great Throne | Revelation 7:9-17 | Landmark Church | Matthew Maher

In Revelation 7, John sees an innumerable multitude from every nation, tribe, people, and tongue standing before the throne and before the Lamb. These are the ones who came out of the Great Tribulation — washed white by the blood of the Lamb, clothed in victory, and shepherded forever in the presence of God. This message explores: • The connection between the 144,000 and the great multitude • “Who is able to stand?” from Revelation 6:17 • The meaning of the white robes and palm branches • Why redemption in Christ is the only unity that stands the test of time • “Religion whitewashes. The Lamb washes white.” • The Lamb who became the Shepherd • God dwelling with His people again From the Great Tribulation to the Great Throne, Revelation 7 reminds us that the Lamb loses none of His own. Psalm 41: The Rumors and The Righteous | Matthew Maher | Landmark Church

The righteous through the ages have been maligned, whispered about, betrayed, and mischaracterized. Psalm 41 reveals that some of the deepest wounds in life do not come from enemies across the battlefield, but from voices around the table. In this message, we walk through: • The blessing of generosity • The whispering of enemies • The pain of betrayal • The mercy of God • The vindication of the righteous • And how Psalm 41 ultimately points us to Jesus Christ — the greater aid to the afflicted and the greater betrayed King. “We may lose in the court of public opinion. We may lose in the battle of private whispering. Who Are The 144,000? (The Mark of the Lamb) | Revelation 7:1-8 | Landmark Church | Matthew Maher

What is the seal of God? Who are the 144,000 in Revelation 7? Are they symbolic… or literal Israelites preserved during the Tribulation? In this message, we walk verse-by-verse through Revelation 7:1–8 and uncover the biblical thread of the remnant running from Genesis to Revelation. Before judgment intensifies, heaven pauses the timeline to reveal a powerful truth: God knows those who are His. In this teaching: • The interlude of Revelation 7 explained • The four winds and withheld judgment • The sealing of the 144,000 • The Old Testament connection to Ezekiel 9 • The “remnant thread” throughout Scripture • The Seal of God vs. the Mark of the Beast • Satan as the great counterfeiter • Why Revelation ultimately comes down to one question: Who do you belong to? “Who is able to stand?” Those who belong to Jesus. Psalm 40: When The Pit Becomes The Platform | Matthew Maher | Landmark Church

What do you do when life feels like a pit? In Psalm 40, David testifies of crying out to God from the miry clay — and discovering that the same God who hears us in the pit is able to lift us onto the rock. What began with waiting eventually turned into worship, proclamation, and renewed dependence upon the Lord. In this message, “When The Pit Becomes The Platform,” we walk through: • Waiting on God in difficult seasons • How God turns pain into testimony • The Messianic picture of Christ in Psalm 40 • Obedience over empty sacrifice • Why transformed lives become testifying lives • How to trust God’s justice without becoming bitter • The rhythm of the Christian life: the pit, the praise, the proclamation, and the plea Psalm 40 reminds us that God not only brings His people out of pits — He puts a new song in their mouths. “The same God who heard David in the pit ultimately sent Christ into our pit so we could be brought into His presence.” Be sure to subscribe to the Landmark Church YouTube Channel and wherever you access podcasts to stay updated on all upcoming sermons. Strong Foundations, Transformed Lives, Lasting Impact | Proverbs 14 |Terence Sikoryak

This message from Proverbs 14 is a call to live intentionally “in the time remaining,” recognizing that every decision is either building a strong future or weakening it. The sermon explores three movements of wisdom: building a solid foundation, experiencing personal transformation, and multiplying lasting impact into others. It challenges listeners to confront unresolved wounds, self-deception, careless speech, and spiritual drift before those patterns become generational burdens. Through biblical wisdom, practical examples, and reflections on leadership, repentance, and integrity, the message emphasizes that transformation is not accidental—it is the result of disciplined, truthful, and God-centered living. Ultimately, the sermon asks a defining question: What kind of legacy will your life leave behind? Signs of the Times: Shaken Foundations: May 17, 1776 - 250 Years Later | Hebrews 12:25-28 | M. Maher

America was born in a moment of shaking. On May 17, 1776, before independence was declared, the Continental Congress called the nation to humiliation, fasting, repentance, and prayer — asking God to establish America upon “a solid and lasting foundation.” Now, 250 years later, we again find ourselves in a time of shaking: political shaking | moral shaking | cultural shaking | spiritual shaking. Hebrews 12 reminds us that God allows shaking so that what cannot be shaken may remain. When the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do? Like Nehemiah — rebuild the wall. Like Ezekiel — stand watch on the wall. Like Esther — intercede in the gap of the wall. Like Daniel — discern the writing on the wall. This Signs of the Times message explores America’s foundations, the dangers of false foundations, and the unshakable Kingdom of Christ. The Question At The End of the World — Who Can Stand? (The 6th Seal) | Revelation 6:12-17 | M. Maher

When the Lamb opens the sixth seal, the world doesn’t just watch judgment happen on earth—the earth itself begins to collapse. The sun turns black. The moon becomes like blood. The stars fall. Mountains shake. The sky recedes like a scroll. What began with deception in the first seal now erupts into cosmic unraveling. But Revelation 6 is more than apocalyptic imagery. It is a moment of recognition. Humanity knows exactly what is happening. They do not cry out for forgiveness—they cry out to hide from “the wrath of the Lamb.” The same Lamb who came first in mercy is now revealed in judgment. In this message, Pastor Matthew Maher walks through: • The Sixth Seal and cosmic collapse • “De-creation” language from Genesis to Revelation • The prophetic significance of the sun, moon, and stars • Why the earth shakes when God reveals Himself • The shocking phrase: “the wrath of the Lamb” • Why people flee from God’s presence instead of seeking Him • The question Revelation leaves us with: “Who is able to stand?” What the prophets warned…what Jesus confirmed…Revelation reveals. And when everything that can be shaken is shaken, only what is in Christ will remain. The Father’s Way: The Standard for Kingdom Life | Nick Johnson

This sermon introduces the Sermon on the Mount by tracing the biblical calling of humanity to image God through steadfast love and faithfulness. God reveals His own character to Moses as abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, then creates mankind in His image to reflect that character and represent His rule in covenant relationship. Yet Adam, Noah, Abraham, Israel, David, and David’s sons all fall short, creating the need for one faithful Son who can fulfill what every covenant son failed to become. Matthew presents Jesus as that faithful Son-King: the Son of David, Son of Abraham, beloved Son, and obedient Son who perfectly represents the Father. Therefore, in the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus teaches His people the kingdom ethic: heart-level obedience that displays the Father’s character so that His name is hallowed, His kingdom comes, and His will is done on earth as it is in heaven. When Heaven Hears the Martyrs’ Cry (The Fifth Seal) | Revelation 6:9–11 | Matthew Maher

What happens when faith costs everything? In the fifth seal of Revelation, the scene shifts from chaos on earth to a courtroom in heaven. The four horsemen have ridden—deception, war, famine, and death—and now we see the result: souls under the altar, crying out for justice. This message explores Revelation 6:9–11 and answers one of the most human questions in Scripture: “How long, O Lord?” These are not cries of doubt—they are cries of faith rooted in the character of God. He is holy. He is true. And His justice is not absent—it is appointed. Even in the darkest period of human history, the gospel is still advancing. The world may produce martyrs, but the Lamb is producing worshippers. God’s justice may be delayed—but it will not be denied. Signs of the Times: Is Modern Israel The Biblical Israel? (Scripture Over Speculation) | Matt Maher

People have strong opinions about Israel—political, cultural, and even conspiratorial. But instead of speculation, what does Scripture actually say? In this Signs of the Times message, we cut through the noise and go straight to the Word of God to answer one of the most important prophetic questions of our time: Is modern Israel the same Israel of the Bible? Has God replaced Israel—or is He not finished? What do God’s covenants, promises, and prophecy reveal? This message walks through: The two dimensions of Israel (Romans 9:6) God’s unbreakable covenant promises (Genesis 12, 15, 17) The scattering and regathering of Israel (Deut. 30, Ezekiel 36–37) Why the world is uniquely fixated on Israel (Zechariah 12:3) Israel’s current spiritual condition (Romans 11:25) The coming national salvation of Israel (Zechariah 12:10, Romans 11:26) If God keeps His promises to Israel…then He keeps His promises—period. This isn’t just about Israel. It’s about whether we trust the God of Israel and submit to His Word. Psalm 39: Don't Waste Your Breath | Matthew Maher | Landmark Church

There are moments in life when you know you shouldn’t speak, but everything in you wants to. So you hold it in. You bite your tongue. You try to stay composed in a world that’s loud, wrong, and watching. But what you suppress doesn’t disappear—it builds. And before long, what started as restraint becomes pressure, and what was meant to guard your mouth begins to consume your heart. In Psalm 39, David takes us from a muzzled mouth to a burning soul, and ultimately to eternal perspective. This message unpacks the tension we all feel: Speaking too quickly… Suppressing too long… And reveals the solution: Before we speak to others, we must learn to speak to God. David’s turning point comes when he shifts from reacting to people to realigning before God: “And now, Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in You.” (Psalm 39:7) Hope is not found in fixing problems—it’s found in fixing your eyes on God’s promises. This sermon will challenge you to: Stop wasting your breath on unnecessary battles Stop carrying what was never yours to carry Start bringing everything to God Because life is a breath and your hope must be bigger than your breath. After The Lie Comes The Loss (Seals 2-4: The Red, Black, & Pale Horse) | Revelation 6:3-8 | Matthew Maher

The first horse brought deception. Now the consequences ride. In this message we open the next three seals of Revelation 6 and follow the red, black, and pale horses as they unleash war, famine, and death on a Christ-rejecting world. This is not random chaos — this is divine consequence. Seal by seal. Horse by horse. In order. In consequence. What the white horse promised, the red horse removes. What the red horse destroys, the black horse starves. What the black horse starves, the pale horse buries. And following behind the pale horse — Hades. A world that rejected the fullness of God will be famished without God. But there is hope. Because the same Lamb opening these seals holds the keys to Death and Hades. And what belongs to Him — no horse can take. In this sermon: • The red horse and the removal of peace — Revelation 6:3-4 • The black horse and engineered scarcity — Revelation 6:5-6 • The pale horse, Death, and Hades — Revelation 6:7-8 • The Greek word toxon — bow, poison, and God's covenant rainbow • Why judgment is sequential, not random • The only peace that cannot be taken — Romans 5:1, Colossians 1:20 • Christ holds the keys — Revelation 1:18 Scriptures referenced: Revelation 6:3-8 | Revelation 1:18 | Romans 5:1 | Colossians 1:20 | Daniel 9:27 | 1 Thessalonians 5:3 | Ezekiel 14:21 | Revelation 12:3 | John 6:35 Deception opens the door. War walks in. Famine empties the table. And death clears the room. But Christ holds the keys. The First Horse Rides On Deception (The First Seal) | Revelation 6:1-2 | Matthew Maher

Before the world falls apart… it first falls for the lie. In Revelation 6:1–2, the first seal is opened—and the first horse doesn’t bring war… it brings deception. A rider appears on a white horse, looking like a conqueror, offering peace, yet setting the stage for global delusion. Jesus warned that many would come in His name and deceive many (Matthew 24:5). Paul revealed how—Satan disguises himself as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14). And Revelation shows us when. This message unpacks how a world that rejects truth becomes ready to receive a counterfeit—and how the Antichrist rises not through force, but through deception. The greatest danger in the last days isn’t that people will reject Jesus… it’s that they will accept a version of Him that isn’t real. Psalm 38: Pressed Until You Confess: Conviction Over Condemnation | Matthew Maher

What do you do when the weight of your sin won’t go away? In Psalm 38, David gives us a raw and honest look at what it feels like to live under conviction—the pressure, the heaviness, the silence, and ultimately… the turning. This isn’t about condemnation. It’s about conviction. And the difference changes everything. If you’ve ever felt that internal weight you couldn’t shake, this message will show you why. The pressure isn’t punishment—it’s pursuit. Revelation 6–18 Overview: Heaven’s Order, Earth’s Collapse | The Final Seven Years | Matthew Maher

What looks like chaos on earth is actually controlled judgment from heaven. In this message, we walk through Revelation 6–18, the most intense seven-year period in human history—the Great Tribulation. This is not random destruction or symbolic confusion. It is a structured, escalating unveiling of God’s judgment, released by the Lamb who once took judgment for the world. From the seals to the trumpets to the bowls, we see how judgment unfolds, intensifies, and ultimately leads to the collapse of a Christ-rejecting world system. But behind it all is a deeper reality—a spiritual war that has been raging since before time. Revelation 12 reveals the war. Revelation 13 reveals the beast. Revelation 14 reminds us—the Lamb wins. This is not just prophecy… it’s trajectory. The question is not “do you understand it all”—the question is: “Do you know the One who holds it all?” Be sure to subscribe to the Landmark Church YouTube Channel and wherever you access podcasts to stay updated on all upcoming sermons. There Is Power In The Thorn | 2 Corinthians 12:7-10 | Nick Johnson

This sermon explores 2 Corinthians 12:7–10 by reframing weakness as the very means through which Christ’s power is displayed. It argues that Paul’s “thorn” is not a single issue but the ongoing hardships of his ministry, given by God to keep him humble and dependent. Through suffering, Paul learns that God’s grace is not removal of difficulty but sustaining presence and power within it. As a result, Paul moves from pleading for relief to boasting in weakness, recognizing it as the platform for Christ’s work in him. The sermon calls believers to trust God in their own “thorns,” seeing them not as obstacles but as instruments through which God accomplishes His purposes. Where Is The Lamb? The Story From Genesis To Revelation | Easter 2026 | Landmark Church | Matt Maherb

From the beginning, the Bible has been asking one question: “Where is the Lamb?” (Genesis 22:7) From Abraham… to Passover… to the cross—every sacrifice was pointing to Jesus. “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29) He didn’t just come to teach—He came to be the sacrifice. Not just to die for you… but instead of you. And how do we know it worked? There is no body in the grave. He is risen. “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain!” (Revelation 5:12) The Lamb you were looking for is the Lamb who was looking for you. What’s with the Palms? A Misunderstood Victory | Palm Sunday | Nick Johnson

This sermon explores the meaning behind the palm branches waved on Palm Sunday and why the crowd misunderstood the kind of victory Jesus came to accomplish. While the people expected political deliverance, Christ came to secure a far greater victory over sin, death, and the wrath of God through His life, death, and resurrection. By examining the historical, biblical, and symbolic significance of the palms, we see that true victory was only possible through the incarnation—God entering into our condition to redeem us. The message calls us to see Jesus clearly, trust Him fully, and live lives rooted in His righteousness. Ultimately, Palm Sunday is not just a celebration of a moment, but a preview of the final victory that will be fully realized in the presence of God. The Rod of God's Wisdom | Proverbs 13:24 | Terence Sikoryak | Landmark Church

Proverbs teaches that true wisdom embraces discipline, while foolishness rejects correction and leads to harm. God’s “rod” represents loving guidance—providing direction, protection, and correction so we can live rightly. The Ten Commandments serve as this framework, not to restrict us, but to keep our lives aligned and flourishing. When we accept God’s discipline, we experience stability, blessing, and a legacy that outlives us. Psalm 37: Evil Is Winning... Or Is It? | Matthew Maher | Landmark Church

Psalm 37 answers one of the oldest questions believers wrestle with: Why do the wicked seem to prosper while the righteous struggle? In this teaching, we walk through David’s wisdom as he contrasts two completely different ways of living: the way of the wicked and the way of the righteous. The wicked may appear powerful, wealthy, and successful for a moment, but their influence is temporary. The righteous, though often overlooked or opposed, are upheld by the Lord and ultimately inherit what God has promised. David shows us that God’s economy operates differently than the world’s. What the world measures by riches, power, and control, God measures by righteousness, trust, and faithfulness. If you’ve ever been discouraged by the apparent success of evil or wondered how believers should respond when injustice seems to prevail, Psalm 37 gives a clear answer: Do not fret. Trust the Lord. The end of the righteous is peace. “The salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; He is their strength in the time of trouble.” — Psalm 37:39 Be sure to subscribe to the Landmark Church YouTube Channel and wherever you access podcasts to stay updated on all upcoming sermons. The Scroll Taken, The Lamb Crowned | Revelation 5:8-14 | Matthew Maher | Landmark Church

In Revelation 5, heaven erupts in worship as the Lamb takes the scroll— God's final decree and the title deed of the earth. The One who was slain for the redemption of the world is now revealed as the rightful ruler of the world. What follows is one of the most powerful scenes in Scripture: heaven’s song of redemption and the coronation of the Lamb. This passage reminds us that Jesus is not only the Savior who shed His blood to redeem sinners, but the King who will reclaim what was lost through sin. The Lamb who once took judgment for the world will now release judgment upon the world, and all creation will ultimately acknowledge His authority. In this message we explore: • The meaning of the scroll in Revelation 5 • The prayers of the saints rising before God • The song of redemption heaven had never sung before • The role of the kinsman-redeemer • The sevenfold praise declaring Christ’s authority • Why all creation will one day worship the Lamb Before the seals of judgment are opened in Revelation 6, heaven settles the question of authority: The Lamb is worthy.
