When we first move from active addiction into recovery and begin living sober, it is so important to find a new community to belong in. It is critical that we have people around us supporting our recovery and encouraging our continued sobriety. It is also important to learn to be comfortable alone. We have to get to where we can trust ourselves not to relapse when no one is looking.
