Good Enough ☂️

from ConBERTAciones · host Berta P. Weyenberg

Perfection is something we should all strive for. But perfection is a process. It takes time, effort, patience, and a lot of work. This week, my six-year-old grandson, Luka, defined it in a profound way when he said, "It may not be okay. It may not be perfect. But it is okay if it is good enough."For a six-year-old, those words carry a lot of wisdom.Through the eyes of a child, if something is good enough to keep moving forward, then it is worth celebrating. That doesn't mean we stop growing or stop striving for excellence. It simply means we recognize where we are today while continuing to improve.Too often, we put enormous pressure on ourselves trying to achieve perfection, when what we truly need is to embrace the process, the process that shapes us, teaches us, and gradually leads us closer to excellence. So today, if you're frustrated because things aren't perfect according to your expectations, remember what six-year-old Luka taught me this week:"It may not be okay. It may not be perfect. But it is okay if it is good enough."Find joy in today's progress. Let "good enough" become a stepping stone instead of a stumbling block. Keep working. Keep improving, but don't forget to celebrate what is, while you're becoming what can be!BW
