Gunter the film acts as a commentary on the formation of the United States and the stark contrast between America’s freedom and the violent colonization of the country. The film is produced by Capra and former Warner Bros. President Jack L. Warner, with screenplay adaptation written by Julius J. and Philip G. Epstein.
