Goodbye to Seb. Hamilton retires! P2 to Charles. £140,000 F1 dinner! F2, WSB & more

Welcome to the Lovecars On The Grid Podcast. Our hosts, Tiff Needell and Paul Woodman bring us a motorsport roundup with events from around the World!   This week, we cover the Formula 1 finale in Abu Dhabi, plus F2 and news from the FIA!   We kick off things with the Formula 1 race at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, which was a bit of a dull race, having already announced the Formula 1 Champion with Max Verstappen dominating the season. How can Abu Dhabi be more exciting?   The battle for 2nd in the driver's championship was a tough one between Charles LeClerc and Sergio Perez though, with LeClerc beating the Red Bull driver.    We of course have the retirement of Sebastian Vettel, whereas Pierre Gasly is moving to Alpine, with Alonso moving to Aston Martin Racing.   The finale to the Formula 2 season was an exciting one too, as Logan Sargeant gets the final seat in F2 for Williams in the 2023 season.   Elsewhere, Tiff has been making headlines following some Tweets he posted about Sergio Perez and comments from Max Verstappen's Mum!   There's also news from the FIA on potentially starting a new, Women's driver's championship in a Gen 2 Formula Four Series.    The World Superbikes Championship also came to an end at Phillip Island, crowning Alvaro Bautista as Champion for 2022.   Next week, we have Extreme E in Uruguay, and have announced a raced in Scotland in May next year!
