Goethe ist tot! Seine Pflanze lebt! Über Plantfluencer einst und jetzt Ein Ehepaar aus Kassel, beide Historiker, erzählt: es besitze eine Pflanze, die einst beim großen deutschen Dichter Johann Wolfgang von Goethe in seinem Haus in Weimar gestanden habe. 1818. Da hatte Goethe ein so genanntes „Brutblatt“ aus Indonesien erhalten und weiter vererbt an einen Professor in Marburg. Vor Jahrzehnten nun habe ein Ableger dieses Goethe'schen Brutblatts seinen Platz in diesem Kasseler Historiker-Haushalt gefunden. Dort lebt nun seit 58 Jahren, ingesamt zählt das Pflänzchen aber schon 207 Jahre. Dies ist ein Podcast über Goethe als ersten Plantfluencer, über ein Historiker-Ehepaar, das die Goethe-Pflanze im Original besitzt und über Julia aus Frankfurt, die weiß, warum exotische Pflanzen aus Indonesien immer noch so einen großen Reiz haben.
