Gotta Be Absurd

Here we go with another track from my synth metal original mini-EP, "The placeholder of something". This one was initially started with the plan to be musically closer to funk, and the title was meant to be "Funking Shirt". However, as usual this mutated into a totally different thing. I don't even know how to define this in term of music genre or style. Just weird stuff. I soon noticed this song and the choice of sounds has a texture that kinda reminds me to that of some Gameboy Advance's soundtracks. That's where the title switched to "Gotta Be Absurd". Just had to think of a title that shares the GBA acronym. As usual, nothing great in terms of songwriting or production, but I think it just works for the intended purpose of "just doing another weird tune". Lots of fancy arpeggios and stuff too.
