I'm Pastor Donnie Jester. Welcome. Grace for Dimpleton Church. We're glad that you can tune in today.
We're here to be talking in a series about divine healing. We'll probably continue this for another month in this series because we want you to be well. God wants you to be well. It's important that you live your best life.
So let's go right into the Word and give you time to find the Word. We're going to go to Galatians chapter 3 verse 13. And while you're turning to this Scripture, if you want to become a partner, again, we never ask you to send your tithes to us. You give your tithes, you're 10% to your local church.
But we would like for you to send that offering if this program is a blessing to you. So you'll see the address on the screen and you'll see text to give as well. So let's get right into the Word in Galatians chapter 3 verse 13. Everybody ready?
Read. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law being made a curse for us. For it is written, cursed is everyone that hangeth on the tree. Verse 14, that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
You see, we're covering some ground little by little letting you know that God wants you well, that healing belongs to you. We said, well, how does healing belong to me? Well, just what I've read you, you have to know that God has cut a covenant with us, signed in the blood of his Son. You see, this is part of this Abrahamic covenant.
God made a covenant with Abraham. And we are part of Abraham's seed. You know, the Bible said in this same chapter, Galatians chapter 3 verse 29, if we be Christ, if we belong to Jesus Christ, then we are Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise. This is what he's talking about, the promise of God.
See, we have a benefit package with God. Psalms 103 verse 1 through 3, the Psalmist said, bless the Lord, all my soul and all that's within me and bless his holy name and forget not all of his benefits, who forgives all of our equities. Isn't that good news? See every sin that you've ever committed.
If you come to Jesus Christ, this is what grace is. Peace is simply unmerited favor that's actually being treated to you by God as though you've never sinned at all in your life. That's what grace is. God will treat you as though you've never sinned and he'll forgive all of your equities and heal all of your diseases.
Glory to God who redeems our life from destruction, who crowns us with loving kindness and tender mercies. Psalms 103 verse tells us in the scripture verses 4 and 5 goes on to say that not only does he redeem my life from destruction, he crowns us with loving kindness and tender mercies. He satisfies my mouth with good things. Whose youth is renewed like the eagles.
That's what I had to tell my little grandkids when he came up to me the day, my little grandson, six years old, said, Papp all your old. I said, no, Papp all's not old. I'm feisty, but I'm not old. He said, when you look old, I may have some miles on me, but my spirit has been renewed day by day, just like the eagle.
Glory to God. Beat my old feathers off, my old scales off, the best God I've got some new one on. You see, the thing of it is, is that I am the redeemed of the Lord. Psalm 107 verse 2 said, let the redeemed of the Lord say so.
You have to know that God gave a covenant through Abraham. And in that covenant, he is provided for you. When you look at Psalms 103 verse 20, the bow said, the angels of God excel in the strength, harkening to the voice of the word. If you want to get healing in your life, you're going to have to get in this word.
You're going to have to get it into your spirit, speak it out of your mouth. You're going to have to simply believe God. Now I want to share this with you as we look at this. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law.
You can see the curse in the latter portion, I should say of the Deuteronomy chapter 28. Disobedience brings the curse. You have to remember that the blessing and the curse is always here. The curse, even though we've been redeemed from the curse through Jesus Christ, the curse is in existence now.
And disobedience can even make you sick. This obedience can cause you to go down the wrong road and cause you to have spiritual blindness. I think it's Proverbs 26 verse 2 that it costs us curse, curse shall not come. That means the curse shall not come without a cause.
A curse comes on your life through disobedience to God. But if you walk in the blessing and obedience of God, these blessings will run over you and overtake you. You'll be blessed in the city, blessed in the field. That's what the covenant of God is.
You have to understand that God wants you to be healed. And he said that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. Curse is everyone that hangs on a tree or that hangs on a cross. So Jesus died a death of a cursed person just for you.
Now he was made a curse so that you and I could be free. I don't know about you. It's time for you to bow up. I bow up.
I bow up when the sickness tries to come, symptoms try to come to my body. I bow up because I have been redeemed from the curse of the law. I have a covenant with God. So in that covenant, as long as I'm walking in the will of God, then healing is a part of my benefit package.
See, that's what you have to understand. The premium has already been paid. All you need to do is receive the package. Jesus paid the premium of your insurance policy for you.
You just got to receive it. Look at the policy. Can you imagine how many of us get auto policy and every look at our benefits? Don't even know what we got.
If we get an accident or something, God forbid we're not going to get an accident. I appropriate the blood of Jesus. Amen. Even though I drive like old man Magoo, I believe God will put angels around me if I appropriate the blood.
Can I have a sip of this? Now, what you got to look at here is that our faith is important to God. You see, persistent faith, right this down, if you're taking notes, persistent faith always wins. You got to allow no symptoms in your body to change your attitude towards God's Word.
It's important to know that your words are very powerful, Proverbs 6 verse 2. The Bible said that when you speak words, you can be snared by your words or by your words, you can be taken away. So it's important to know that in Psalms 119 verse 130 that the entrance of God's Word gives light. God wants to give you spiritual light and understanding that healing belongs to you.
You have a covenant with God. It's in the covenant. Psalms 89 verse 34. God said, my covenant will not break.
Neither will I alter the thing that's going forth out of my lips. As I said in it, it bears repeating if God ever healed one person, heal you, you're next in life. You're not one of the unfortunate ones. God wants you well.
So if you, right now, right now, let's just cancel out the Bible teaching right now. Put your hand on the part of the body that's in pain. We're going to pray. Father, in the name of Jesus, I speak to this body of the people that are watching this program in Jesus' name.
This body right now that the devil is moved in on. I curse cancer. I curse heart disease. I curse these symptoms that are lying symptoms from hell.
In the name of Jesus. And Lord, I release your healing and on in by the Word of God to flow into this body, from the top of their head to the soles of their feet. I command this body to lie that word in Jesus' name. Now receive your healing.
Now, you need to go around and say, devil, you need to talk to that mountain. You need to talk to the sickness. You can't live in my body. Sickness, you can't live in me.
But the greatest miracle and the greatest healing is if you accept Jesus as your Savior. See, he'll heal you right now, even if you don't know him. Now if he just healed you just moments ago, right now, say, Jesus, I accept you. Come into my heart.
I thank you for what you did. And go tell somebody about it. We'll see you in the Lord next week. God bless you.
