Season 4 Ep. 2 New Coaches this season. Matt Rhule- Nebraska/came from Carolina Panthers, but coached at Baylor and Temple before NFL Luke Fickell- Wisconsin/came from Cincinnati 7-6 last season. Cincinnati was 9-4 after a first ever trip for a group of 5 team going to a playoff in 2021z Coach Prime- Colorado/came from Jackson State 12-0 in regular season last season. Comes in too much hype at Colorado. A school that admittedly, could not afford his salary. Hugh Freeze- Auburn/came from Liberty. This is a coach who was up-and-coming in the SEC then had a scandal went to liberty, revived his name, and now has a coveted job at Auburn. Brent Key- Georgia Tech, was interim coach last season. Did Georgia Tech make a mistake and not go hire a new coach, or is this program just on life support any ways, and not worth giving any more energy to? Zach Arnett- Mississippi State- Defensive Coordinator stepped into HC role after Mike Leach’s passing last December. Mississippi State went out on a limb to pull Mike Leach from Washington, he was a great coach out west, and came to the SEC and really did show a lot of growth for the Mississippi State team. I just wonder why they didn’t go out and find a coach this season or are they just gonna this season and then go find somebody. 2nd year coaches: expectations met last season? Should we expect more, less, or the same this season? Brian Kelly- LSU, grade last season? Expectations this season Lincoln Riley- USC, Grade Last season? Expectations this season? Marcus Freeman-Notre Dame, Brent Venables- Oklahoma, Are you happy with the 4 game playoff going away after this season? Are there any teams you are looking at not in the Pre-season top 25 that should be there, or after week 4 will be there and will move up week to week? What conference will be the other Power 5 conference after PAC 12 goes away next year? Or is there even room for a power 5, will it be just the power 4? Has NIL been good for CFB 1 year in?
