GRASSLEY GRILLS SMITH, DAVIS BREAKS THE SWEEP | WAR ROOM PM W STEVE BANNON

Former special counsel Jack Smith sat before Senate Judiciary today as Chairman Chuck Grassley pressed him on Arctic Frost, lawmaker records, journalist communications, and a classified-documents case Grassley's office says started as a "non-criminal" referral. Smith said he will not be "silenced" and stood by both Trump prosecutions.   Grassley disclosed that Smith's team obtained roughly 4,800 donor checks from Americans in all 50 states—plus D.C. and Puerto Rico—including small-dollar Trump donations. Those records carried names, addresses, account numbers, routing numbers, and signatures. Grassley called it targeting of the Republican apparatus, not a normal prosecution.   Steve Bannon opens with Mike Davis on the phone and Jeff Clark on Zoom to unpack what the hearing actually accomplished: what Smith admitted, what he dodged, and what accountability looks like next.   Should Jack Smith face charges for how far this investigation went—or was this just hardball prosecution?   #WarRoom #SteveBannon #JackSmith #ChuckGrassley #MikeDavis #JeffClark #ArcticFrost #SenateJudiciary #RealAmericasVoice   Welcome to the War Room.
