LSU Football team captain Greg Brooks has been diagnosed with rare brain cancer called medulloblastoma. After complaining of vertigo, Brooks received an MRI that revealed a tumor. The tumor was removed, but Brooks is still battling cancer. A fifth-year senior from Harvey, La., Brooks attended West Jefferson High School before earning three letters at the University of Arkansas. In 2022, he transferred to LSU, starting 13 games in the Tigers’ secondary and helping propel the program to the SEC Championship Game and a win in the 2023 Citrus Bowl.
