His role morphed into representing Pat as his exclusive booking agent for nearly 15 years. Greg subsequently founded a booking agency, Austin Universal Entertainment (AUE), in 1997 and grew AUE into one of the largest independent booking agencies in the country. Over the next 15 years, he represented and managed artists, including Cross Canadian Ragweed, Wade Bowen, Cory Morrow, Jason Boland, and dozens of other artists. In 2012, Greg sold AUE to accept a position as COO at the historic Backyard in Austin, TX. Greg left the Backyard in 2015 to open a restaurant in Buda, TX, Willie Joint. Greg also produces nearly a dozen events, including the Margarita Salas Festival in Waco, TX.
