Na onophoudelijke regen in Beieren en Baden-Württemberg braken meerdere dammen door en dorpen in de regio worden vandaag geëvacueerd. De schade is weer enorm. Is Duitsland voldoende voorbereid op de toenemende dreiging van hoogwater ten gevolge van klimaatverandering? En wat is er geleerd van de catastrofale overstromingen in het Ahrdal van 2021?
