from Invest in You · host Fredrik Sandvall, Ivan Sandvall, Charlie Sandvall

‘Videos organically get a lot of exposure; people are doubling their connections in a month’   Fredrik and Charlie are in Sweden and  in conversation with Zac Scriven, creative content creator, influencer and host of the ‘Zack Scriven Podcast’  With a background in industrial automation, Zack shares his passion for creative video content and the vital role it plays in increasing engagement across social media platforms.  Listen in and find out how to increase your followers, expand your network and make a difference.     KEY TAKEAWAYS  I wasn’t in this industry  of  video content creation, personal branding and being an influencer until a year ago when I quit my engineering job to pursue my passion full time, I do content in and around the niche of industrial automation  I have a background in industrial automation, part of an experience is sharing the experience with other people and I have shared my journey of transition from employee to content creator and influencer.  There are jobs out there that will be more in alignment with your passion and closer to where you want to be.  Be yourself and bring your true value to the world  In general, the industrial automation industry has lacked video content from a personal perspective and I have been able to focus on creating video content for this niche.  Part of the process of working with me is the network effect, you associate with me and we get exposure to each other's customers and share our LinkedIn contacts. We all get to grow together; influencers can make a real difference.  With LinkedIn you are getting real-time exposure but has a short lifetime, there is not really any searchability whilst YouTube is the largest search engine and has a lengthy lifetime.  They are both very powerful when used together  I’m focused more on the long term and getting to work on projects that are interesting to me. I'm more interested in someone coming to me and having the creative freedom to work in the way I want.  You’ve got to bring your best value to the world, because ultimately out life has no meaning other than the impact we leave on others.     BEST MOMENTS  ‘YouTube is more or a long-term play whilst LinkedIn is short term engagement’  ‘Commenting on others it is a powerful engagement tool to grow your following’  ‘The gear didn’t matter it was more about doing it in the first place’  ‘You need to understand why you want to grow your following’              VALUABLE RESOURCES  Invest In You Podcast  Trust is the New Currency book by Sheila Holt & Fredrik Sandvall  Zack Scriven LinkedIn  Zack Scriven Podcast  Invest Like a Boss Podcast  Graham Stephan YouTube     ABOUT THE HOST  Serial entrepreneur Fredrik Sandvall loves sharing ideas and interviewing world-class entrepreneurs and influencers.
