Growing Roots: Michael de Souza

Storybooks form and shape our childhood often leaving lasting impressions throughout our lives and occasionally a book appears that's impact is so great it transcends generations. Today I'm joined by Portobello local (situated in Notting Hill, London) and literary legend Michael de Souza, writer and creator of the iconic 'Rastamouse' series.Rastamouse has gone on to become a hugely children's book and BBC tv show, educating, entertaining and inspiring young kids with its celebration of Afro-Caribbean and British culture.
