    In today's episode I had the opportunity to sit down with Steve Oram the founder of  Proud & Gifted, a Not-ForProfit organisation that celebrates the successes of young individuals particularly from under-represented backgrounds.Tired of the negative narrative portrayed in the media about young people he set on an incredible journey which has led to him personally recognising nearly 500 young people's achievements with a Proud & Gifted award and being selected as a baton bearer for the Commonwealth Games and Queen's Platinum jubilee.     Free: Wilf Walker

    Growing Roots: Michael de Souza

    Storybooks form and shape our childhood often leaving lasting impressions throughout our lives and occasionally a book appears that's impact is so great it transcends generations. Today I'm joined by Portobello local (situated in Notting Hill, London) and literary legend Michael de Souza, writer and creator of the iconic 'Rastamouse' series.Rastamouse has gone on to become a hugely children's book and BBC tv show, educating, entertaining and inspiring young kids with its celebration of Afro-Caribbean and British culture.     On today's episode I am joined by self-defence expert Nick Wood, Nick is not only Head Striking coach at Roger Gracie (RGA) HQ) Academy; but also has a wide client base that  ranges from actors to supermodels, in addition to running a personal security company.
