More on Ed: Ed Brockner joined the Western Golf Association/Evans Scholars Foundation in May of 2021 as the Vice President of East Region Development. Ed leads the development of the WGA's programs in the East Region to achieve the 2030 ambitions. Prior to the WGA, Ed served as the Executive Director of First Tee Metropolitan New York, where he managed a staff of more than forty employees at five facilities throughout the region. A native of Long Island, NY and golfer since age 7, Ed also worked in various roles in the golf industry during his youth including as a caddie. Ed was recruited to be a member of the Varsity golf team at Yale University where he majored in History. Ed went on to earn a Master's degree in Sports Management at Florida State University. Ed lives in Westchester, NY.
