More on Dallas & Ryan: Dallas Webster an avid golfer became frustrated a few years ago with inefficient practice and stalled improvement. With a growing family, time became less available to spend on the golf course to reach his golf goals. After reading Every Shot Counts by Mark Broadie, he began tracking advanced golf stats in an excel spreadsheet and started getting insights into his game that accelerated his progress. His best friend Ryan Hebert was just taking up the game and also working hard to improve. After a long phone call and brainstorming they partnered up to turn clumsy scorecard input and excel spreadsheets into an app for the amateurs that became PocketPAR. Ryan was able to carve out an 8 handicap including winning several tournaments on the Golf Channel Am Tour.  After 3 years of improving PocketPAR as a side gig, they partnered with V1 Sports to create what is now V1 Game.
