Welcome to Golf Talk Live! It's great to be back on air with Season 8. I'm looking forward to a brand new year hosting Golf Talk Live. The 2019 season had some interesting guests, but 2020 will include even more, and of coarse the return of Coaches Corner. Helping start my new season is special guest: Darin Hoff –Director of Golf Sales - Golf Travel Professionals, LLC. PGA Certified Professional & 2019 North Florida PGA Horton Smith Award Recipient. More on Darin: Darin grew up like most Midwest kids in the 70’s and 80’s in love with anything that involved a ball. His first love was baseball and it consumed his life until a family friend known to him as “Grandma Bettye” introduced him to her best friend’s son who just happened to be Payne Stewart. Despite a 13 year difference in age, Payne convinced Darin that he should pursue golf instead. Darin turned professional in 1992 while attending Ferris State University and never looked back. While his dream of playing professional quickly faded with Payne’s passing in 1999, his career as a PGA Professional was about to take off.
