At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to: 1. Identify the role of genetic testing in men with advanced, metastatic and CRPC. 2. State the criteria for genetic testing of prostate cancer patients, the gene panels available, and options for testing these men. 3. Describe results of genetic testing and relay this information to patients in order to facilitate shared-decision making based on the test results. 4. Explain the importance of testing for germline mutations and their implication for novel therapies such as PARP inhibitors.
