ב-1971 שימש חצי האי סיני בית כלא אכזרי במיוחד ויעד להגליה של מי שמעולם לא היו חשודים בעצמם בביצוע פשע. במחנות מאולתרים שהקימה ישראל באבו זנימה ובנח'ל הוחזקו בתנאים קשים מאות בני אדם - ילדים, נשים וגברים - בלב המדבר, הרחק מעין הציבור. פרק זה מספר לראשונה את סיפורם של מחנות המעצר בסיני.
